Solid game from THT. Though you can always pencil him in for 2-3 TO per game in trying to force his way inside the paint. Team as a whole was very sloppy with protecting the ball tonight.

Love Dwight. Days and Nights as compared to DJ.

The energy and rhythm is getting better and better. I like Nunn's block shot late in the game so much. THT played a little better.

Still needs to get better defensively. We still need one more wing who plays defense and athletic big who has a nose on rebound. Maybe a player who is 6'8" to 6'10" who can switch from 3-5 is preferable.

Westbrook is turning the ball over every time he's trying to make a pass.

Too early to make any judgements. Dwight is looking good on his feet. Definitely missed compared to Marc and the penguin who couldn't catch the ball if his life depended on it.

Horton-Tucker may not be gone for too long, depending on the severity. Monk may have been hurt in the fourth quarter against Golden State, since he went in and came out again after about a minute and a half. Groin sprains can be tricky, so having come out quickly, and not aggravating it, would have helped. Even so, it could be weeks before he gets back on the court.

AD being outplayed by Ayton goes all the way back to last season. Let's see if that changes tonight.

Our shooting this pre-season has been awful. All our 'shooters' are barely drawing iron.

Jordan and Westbrook on the court will be a problem. AD will have to start at C.

Lakers are getting killed on the boards again, 47-32. As a result, they have 69 shots to 80 for the Suns. No way to win with numbers like those, unless you hit half of your threes.

My lineup from two months ago:
Westbrook/Nunn/Monk
Ellington/Monk/THT
Bazemore/THT/Bron
Bron/Melo/AD/Ariza
AD/Marc/Dwight

Nunn - I've yet to be impressed with what he brings to the table. He's a defensive liability and hasn't really shot the ball well. He's pretty much a lesser version on Lou Williams. I no longer think he should be Westbrook's back-up. Rondo and THT should get some of his minutes.

Ellington hasn't shot the ball well. So far he's having a hard time getting open. Coaching staff needs to run better set to get him open. I'm still hopeful that playing with the big 3 will afford him better looks. I'd still say start for now.

Bazemore - he's a very scrappy player. He reminds me a bit of Caruso. He won't fill the boxscore but more often than not he makes the right play or read. I think he has a strong case to start.

Monk - could replace Ellington in the starting lineup. He's been solid, though a bit undersized.

THT - will drive to the hoop most of the time. Starting him will only exacerbate an already poor spacing issues. He should be one of the first guys off the bench. Should see plenty of minutes at the 3 and 1 spot.

Melo - known chucker. Can shoot you in or out of a game. Poor defense is well known. Should be kept on a tight leash as Bron's backup.

DJ should not play. Completely worthless signing.

2 pre-season games in and Westbrook annoys me already.

I'm not one of those fans that think the pre-season is completely meaningless. Starting out 0-4 and getting blown out every game is concerning. I had lower expectations than many with this team and they keep getting lower.

Its meaningless to me. Bron is a classic switch flipper. After years and years of post seasons, Bron has no use for extra mileage. And he's right, our roster might be later in the year switch flippers.
