Weird back to backs tonight.
I don't remember ever having back to backs against the same team with both on the road on their court.

Either way, hope the guys come out strong tonight and take this one too.

We're inching our way toward .500 and can't afford to lose games like this.

Hoping we establish AD early and get him going for a dominant game.

It's become clear throughout the period that LBJ has been out that we need to run our offense through AD.
I am sure that LBJ is willing to defer as long as we win and as long as he gets his points too.

It’s like clock work, Lebron comes back then AD now feels something is “bothering” him and has to miss a game or 2. Both are like pitchers on a pitch count. One gets injured while the other tries to carry the team. Many fans still lament of how they traded pieces to bring in a 3rd star, and this is the reason. They both wanted to take 20-25 games off during the season to keep them fresh for the playoffs. Unfortunately Russ is a poor fit and has declined as a superstar and now he is a glorified bench guy.

Can’t judge this team until Pat Bev comes back
The only 2 road victories are against the worst team so far, including 1 where they needed almost every point of Lebron’s 38.

It would be amazing if we ever got a game where both LeBron and AD played like they have been recently.... Together...

That said, the team looks a lot better over the last stretch. 500 might be within the realm of possibility if we get everyone rolling together...

But when you have 2, maybe 3 superstars... And 500 is your ceiling, it's time to blow it the f up...

That said, given the fact that the draft this season seems top-2 heavy, and we're not likely to get there with what we have to trade, I could now see a path forward with LW3, AD, and Reaves... Maybe Bryant and Ryan mixed in... Wait until Bron passes Kap and then burn it down to some combination of those guys and see what we can build around them.

Also, Reaves and Walker have been absolute keys .

I honestly didn’t think Reaves would be this good. I am so pleasantly surprised. He is a threat offensively and solid defensively .

Blowing up the team won’t happen during the season in my opinion.
If anything, it’ll be in the off-season , if at all.
Remember they have some cap space this off-season to get some players around AD and LBJ

Agreed that Reaves and Walker have been great positive surprises. So has Russ, albeit there’s no surprise in his success against second units. The defense has definitely slipped. And I can’t wait to get Russ’ contract off the books. How much cap space that is, will be what determines what’s right to do with the roster but I’d say trade our picks and build a team for a last ring with LBJ. If this next draft is half-weak let’s leave it alone and build a contend now team if possible.
