People don't like Dlo here, but you're not going to get his playmaking and shooting anywhere else for $18 million. And trading him would just open the door for minutes for Bronny in an already crowded backcourt

That’s nice but the playoffs are all about defense.

Dlo has no defense so you have to decide if we want a championship team or you happy with making the playoffs.

Of course you need both. If you need more defense, then sub him out. Lakers never have shooting. The lack of 3 pt shooting has lost them games. If they double AD or force the ball from Lebron with no shooting, then the offense completely stalls. So unless you're going to put all your faith in Knecht, what other shooters are there....Prince?

Of course you need defense, but scheme around him or find players to fit in for other situations. An old rondo whose defense wasn't good anymore closed games in a playoff run. You find ways to make it work.

would mean a lot if he did.

I would prefer either of the non Harden options... think i'd throw up having to watch the beard in P&G trying to get a title.

Hmmmm is Markkanen trade a possibility? Prefer that to either, but if both DD and Lauri or Klay and Lauri.

trade 1: wood, cam, Rui and two unprotected first for Lauri and Kessler

since clippers won't trade PG13 to us... maybe we can sneak a way for us to get him with a 3 way and have Klay go there...... trade 2:

dangelo, hayes to warriors
pg13 to Lakers
klay, vando to clips

MLE: top priority should be Klay (if that trade doesnt go through),... than DeRozan , oubre/bridges MLE split,

VETS min.... Drummond, Kevin love, Spencer, cp3... who else?

harden is an excellent pickup if we can establish a strong rebounding culture and get to our fundamentals

(A) Trade Russell, Reaves, Vincent, and Hayes to CHI for:
LaVine, two protected first round picks and a second round pick:

Russell - 18.5
Reaves - 13
Vincent - 11
Hayes - 2̲.̲5̲
45 million for LaVine's 43

Good for CHI because they get to rid themselves of LaVine and his horrendous contract, receive salary cap relief, a tremendous value contract in Reaves, and a large expiring to make more deals.

Bad for CHI because they must attach multiple picks to both jettison LaVine and receive Reaves in return.

Good for LAL because they receive a dynamic, athletic, pure-shooting guard with potential to become their closer and some picks to go with him.

Bad for LAL because it costs them Reaves and taking on LaVine's contract with it's size and his injury history is a tremendous risk.

(B) Trade Hachimura to GSW for sign and traded Klay Thompson (three years, 15 million per).

(C) Resign James and Christie.

(D) Sign Kyle Anderson to a portion of the MLE (three years, 7 million per).

(E) Sign Biyombo and Dwight Howard to veteran minimums (or any other similar physical, defensive centers).

(F) Leave remaining MLE (6 million) open for in-season upgrade possibilities.

1. Davis - 43m
2. LaVine - 43m
3. James - 25m (-25m paycut)
4. Thompson - 15m
5. Vanderbilt - 11m
6. Anderson - 7m
7. Christie - 5m
8. Knecht - 4m
9. Schifino - 4m
10. Wood - 3m
11. Reddish - 3m
12. Biyombo - 3m
13. Howard - 3m
14. Lewis - 2m
15. James - 1m
TOTAL --- 172 million (6m of MLE remaining)

PG - James ----- Anderson - Schifino
SG - Christie ---- James ----- Lewis
C -- Davis ------- Biyombo -- Howard
PF - Vanderbilt -- Knecht --- Wood
SF - Thompson - LaVine ---- Reddish

Chicago could entertain that same package for PG-13 and clips could consider it, vs losing him for nothing

Typing this out on my crappy phone.

- Demar Derozan, is waiting to see what PG gets in the market, maybe he wants to go to clippers when pg leaves or just seeing what $$$ PG gets.

- Harden just said his willing to take less with clippers so they can build a team around him and KL doesn't mention PG.

This leaves Klay OR Jonas. In regard to Bron taking pay cut. Please be Jonas need a big

Edit I know Demar not on Bron's list, but a lot of us here would like him, don't see him coming for less

Definitely thought Max would get more but that's a super team friendly deal.
