Luka owns OKC.
And SGA owns Luka.

How? Luka punked him as a 4 seed last year.

Upset, maybe but not monumental.

I would take Luka + Bron over any other duo.
I would take Luka + Bron + AR over any other trio.

Surround them with shooters and defenders that hustle, its scary!

Everyone needs to realize that Denver is fool's gold. They haven't beaten a single healthy contender in months. They've been feasting off win streaks against tanking teams and have an inflated record as a result. They are an overrated team coasting off an all time Jokic season. Their bench is incredibly shallow, their 2nd and 3rd options are incredibly inconsistent offensively and their team defensive is piss poor.

You'd put them over the Warriors and Clippers? Weren't you really high on the Warriors?

The issue with the Warriors is their seeding, they could potentially go play-in-Denver-LA-OKC which is just a brutal stretch.

If they can get up to that 5th seed, I’d have them as 3rd favorites even over the Lakers.

Inflated how? People like to ignore the fact that their two best defenders have missed a majority of games the last couple of months. AG and Peyton Watson. Like how you ignore context. But go a head

Seriously tho, I'm hoping we get Lakers vs Celtics finals. I think Luka brings more firepower this time around with LeBron/Reaves. It was only so much Kyrie could bring as a small guard. I think this would be Boston's biggest test.

I think it goes 7 games.

Surely you do have some real concerns about the team’s inability to beat the top teams though right?

I say this as someone who still has Denver as a real title contender, I think they are clearly worse than they were in 2023.

Denver is a joke now. That series isn't going past 5 games

Denver is not a joke in a playoff series. Jokic will pick apart every single coverage you throw at him.

I’d still have them as favorites.

Luka wasn't the reason they won, he played pretty badly. It was PJ Washington and Derrick Lively. That's why OKC went and got Hartenstein.

Yeah I've wondered/asked about that in the past and eventually just kinda gave up on it, but I don't understand why there's a million Lakers fans on RGM but the Lakers forum is just sitting there with crickets chirping and tumbleweeds rolling by. Seems like it should be a very active and lively community.

Their margin of error is definitely smaller. They can’t win a title without being healthy. The defensive depth is not there. Hopefully Zeke can get enough confidence and play well enough that Malone will trust him in the playoffs I doubt it but we will see

It wouldn't be the first team without good Cs to make the finals due to top of the world wing play

Get used to it!

Lakers taking over and full blitzing media!!

Lakers were top tier discussion when we were a play-in game team. Now Lakers haters gonna suffer! Including Malone and Round-Mound-of-Rebound.

I did. You really think those 2 mattered more than Luka? If so you should probably rethink some things.
