This one will be a hard fought game.

We need this win, Grizzlies do not need wins.

GO LAKERS!

Odom and Turiaf have to contain Gasol!

I think we should definitely win this game. Memphis' starting lineup looks intimidating..but they're foul prone also. If one of those guys gets in foul trouble (Rudy Gay a likely candidate) we will smash on them.

Also, our bench is MUCH better than theirs. I think we'll be fine. :)

The Grizz are not a bad looking team on paper.
They will come out with their best effort against the Lakers. They always do. Most teams always do.

I'd start Ariza. We need his atheleticism to chase aroung Gay and or Miller.
Don't let Miller hurt you. Kobe needs to stay on him and not gamble for steals in the passing lanes.
Go to Bynum early and often to start the game and get the big fellow going offensively.
Limit turnovers.
Rebound. Limit the offensive rebounds.

Slow the game down.

Don't overlook this team. They are dangerous.

Go Lakers

This could be a loss if Lakers are looking ahead to tomorrow's game w/ the Hornets.

Whats problematic is the team is turning over the ball way to much, and the Grizzlies can give us match up problems w/ Darko and Gasol on the floor at the same time. Almost have to play a zone with LO covering the Arch and Bynum patrolling the paint.

Ariza and Kobe switching between Miller and Gay, hoping both can stay out of early foul trouble. If the lakers have their heads on straight and keep the turnovers down, it's a win. otherwise, not a good way to start a road trip

The will be a test for the Grizzlies as they do matchup well against the Lakeshow. Kobe will obviously get his. The key would be to keep the Lakers perimeter game from getting into the flow of their offense. Also keep Bynam from being a force in the interior.

We need this win. 22-11 going into tomorrow nite.

Start Ariza and I'll be happy.

Mathup of the night:

Ariza vs. Gay

If Ariza has his way with Gay, this is our game to lose. If Gay has his way, we got a long game ahead of us.

With Bynum in there, they can't really hurt us on the inside.
If we control their perimeter guys and don't let them run on us, we should win.
