Based on the ineptitude of this offense it's going to be close. You guys might be able to get one or both of the game against the Browns though. And I'm circling Oct 27th on my calendar, that could be the game of the year.

Browns beat the Vikings today, so even that is a tough game to win for the Steelers.

that fight got me thinking: as a challenger, do you need to win all rounds or KO the champ to win? for me Gustaffson got the first 3 rounds and the 5th was kind of a tie. he blocked 11 out of 12 take down attempts from the champ and was resilient in attacking Jones even after taking some punishing kicks to the head and still moving fluid after taking shots to his leg. one Jones kick = 2 Gustaffson punches. also kind of puzzling how the score cards are all in favor of Jones. unanimous was kind of puzzling.

I love Jones but I think they went after history (6 straight successful title defense).

That's not saying much. They're probably a tier about the Raiders and Jags. If not for Peterson they would be in the same category.

wait who has Silva smack talked? plus Silva is probably the greatest MMA fighter ever (he is easily the greatest middleweight ever), so i think he has the right to be a little cocky.

was gonna say Sonnen but I think that was justifiable since Sonnen was over the top with his jabs.

as for the taunting even if you didn't ask, his last bout with Chris Wiedman was the best example. agree that he's possible the best middleweight but damn you gotta respect all regardless of their record or reputation. well at least he didn't say that was luck. that fight he looked really uninterested.

which reminds me, i'll start it up soon. i've run it for the last 3-4 yrs i think, but i think i want to pass it on to someone else. i didn't enjoy last season one bit so no reason to keep at it. even though the person that most made it unenjoyable is gone i'd still rather pass off to someone.
