I get it... Not blaming him for not realizing this but that much damage and flame pretty much indicates the tank has already ruptured... It's not going to blow. Plus what you see in the movies rarely happens... Large fireballs are created by pressure. Gas tanks aren't that sealed. Also, gasoline is much less explosive than say Diesel.
But still, if it was going to blow, If you're close enough to get a bitchin video for YouTube, you're close enough to get seriously hurt. Either put the camera down, call the cops and get the **** away, or put the camera down, and see if you can help.
Nothing could make me stand there and watch the car burn if there was someone in it with a reasonable chance of survival.
That said, I read some articles that said the initial impact was with a telephone post on Walker's door. So he probably died on impact, but still... There's something wrong about just standing around filming a car burn with people inside.
