Nothing's gonna happen, short of trading 3/4 for 1 for Morris, this is the team and we're only contenders for free agents and buyouts

Minn did a good job at marketing Covington w all the buzz w Lakers and such and hyped him up to make him look like some blockbuster trade piece. Houston fell for it.

Strange move by Andre... He's essentially committing to retiring with the Heat. Maybe he knows something we don't... Like he's washed...
Miami being at best, the 3rd best team in the East and all... Probably 4th.

Miami has been 2 almost almost all year and I would take them in a 7 game over Phili and Boston. Jimmy Butler, Heat culture, are that strong. All it takes is Giannis hoeing up again like vs Kawhi to get out

You would think that if Shamet isn’t in the Clippers talks that Kuzma sure won’t be for Morris either. You would have to be saying bye to Caruso and I’m okay with that and the salary filler.

Also came out that Rose has told people he wants to stay in Detroit and likes it there. And that may go places as people know about his mental health and no show issues when things get to him.

why do some laker fans keep referencing that? The guy had a blip and disappeared and admitted he handled it the wrong way. He's formed a relationship with LeBron. I don't think he'd repeat that again.

Strange? The man is going to miami and getting paid Danny Green Money. He's already talked about golfing with Ray allen.

Basketball wise, terrible decision imo. Business wise? Excellent decision. Who else is going to give Andre 30m? He's got 3 rings. He knows he's not an HOF talent and adding another one does nothing for his legacy, so why not cash out?

Assuming you are talking Rose.

A blip is something that isn’t repeated. He did the stunt in NY. He did it in Cleveland under the lights of Bron and Wade. He would do it most likely in LA under the lights of Bron and shadow of Kobe too, especially since his people have said he wants to stay where he is at.

He signed in Minnesota last year. He signed in Detroit this year. He’s not built for mass media following and consumption anymore. He rather be the sixth man off the beaten path without a bunch of cameras in his face. The best way to break rose imo isn’t physical, it’s mental and LA would break him looking at his NY past and Cleveland time
