I hope he remembers that ish when he's 3 for 40 and Nash tries to take the ball out of his hands.

Drew for Dwight and Pau for the Minny deal isn't terrible and should really be looked at now

Dwight runs the rim better, moves laterally better on d, and he passes out the post better. Minny could spread the floor for LA and give them depth, energy, youth and spacing which is where Nash thrives while allowing Kobe to be in the triple threat away from the ball

Dwight - Bynum
Pau - Beasley, Williams, Barea

Still look at Jamison and Hill

Then see if you can move Blake and McRoberts for picks or something

Team is deep, well rounded, balanced, and better than having Pau and Andrew clogging up the floor still

I think due to Nash, Kobe might actually be able to exert some more energy on defense, This will help us, I still think we need another wing defender to come off the bench and help out in spurts.

Just be happy it was the 4th and he was liquored up, as I think it would be tough to swallow that much pride sober.

I still say when Nash heard that he had to say I'm being punked, where's the camera

The shot blocking and shot altering of two seven footers behind the perimeter defenders should help.

That said, wouldn't mind seeing the MMLE used on a defensive minded backup two guard who can also hit some threes...would JR Smith consider coming to the Lakers?

i just cant wait to see our TOs drop into the single digits every single game.
i cant wait to see our assist totals skyrocket
i cant wait to see threes rain down from the outside
i cant wait to see the lakers actually run again

Don't like that trade for Pau at all, but it's a fair point about clogging up the lane.

As true as this statement is I have seen very few posters accept when they're wrong. That's set aside for the elite class! :D

Props all around.

Props to Mitch for getting up after the veto
Props to Jim for showing he like his pop is committed as this is his first successful splash

Props to Kobe because we all know damn well, "I need you, I can't do it alone, I need your help" wasn't close to easy for him to say outloud to any man

I have always hated the Lakers. Hated. Same goes for Kobe.

However, you can't deny Kobe's drive or his talent.

You also can't deny the Lakers got screwed by Stern and Co. on the Chris Paul sweepstakes.

So... as much as it hurts to see the rich get richer, to a certain extent... Congratulations, Lakers fans. You just got one of the classiest players in the league to join one of the most prominent players of the last few generations, and you're going to watch Kobe go out with his 6 'ships, his scoring records, and in a really happy/fulfilling situation.

I don't begrudge you that-- I've always felt great players deserve great swan songs-- this is gonna be one helluva run. Enjoy it!

Congratulations!

Sincerely,
A deeply disappointed, but earnestly trying, Raptors fan. lol Good luck this year!

Congrats, I think you're better than OKC already with Nash.

So it will be:

Nash
Kobe
Artest
Pau
Andrew

Damn. I still say.. go after Howard. You guys need a star to build around after some begin to decline/fade away.

I love the non-jaded posters that go to a team board and actually give props rather than fall into the GB fray and downplay the situation with all the other ridiculous people.

Thanks guys.

Congratulations guys. I wish nothing but the best to Nash and your team. It's a tough pill to swallow as a Suns fan but if this gets Nash a ring then I'm 100% for it.

Ok with the $. Would have preferred two years rather than three. But can't complain!
