A Baylor University graduate who says she was raped by two football players in 2013 sued the university Friday. Her lawsuit includes an allegation that 31 Baylor football players committed 52 acts of rape, including five gang rapes, between 2011 and 2014 -- an estimate that far exceeds the number previously provided by school regents.

At least two of the gang rapes were committed by 10 or more players at one time, the suit states.

So..... she filed suit in 2013 against 2 players but now claims that it's 10 or more and it was going on until 2014? So they continued to rape her for a year after she brought suit? Something's not right here. How does one person get raped over and over yet no charges or cops involved after the first act? Even if the University was covering it up you take it to the media if it's that horrific.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. There are obviously a lot of missing pieces of information.

She's not claiming that she was the victim in all cases. She's mentioning that there were 52 cases of rape with 31 players involved and different victims.

The gang rape accusations are horrible to even hear. That shouldn't happen in any civilized society let alone at a place that claims to be a Baptist Christian university.

The article isn't clear. I just read another account of it and it made it even less clear. Unfortunately these things do happen and on the flip side we've seen these types of accusations made up or greatly exaggerated. I'm hoping for the latter and that many people were not put through this.

I think she might be exaggerating a bit but Baylor's had an issue with sex assault involving football players for a long while and there have been multiple attempts at cover ups. It's an open secret on campus. It's no surprise that Art Briles was fired from that program along with the athletic director.

Crazy first couple of days it's been...
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

Peanut butter sandwich with banana slices added in is like the simplest and greatest snack ever. It can be a whole breakfast meal by itself.

Slice the whole banana and stack it all in-between the two loaves of bread in an uniform layer.

Saw one of these at the gas station today: Image

Making 'Merica great again... :usa: :cowboy:

That said... It was pretty cool.
In an asinine, conspicuously useless kind of way.

Pretty sure it was this guy driving it...

Which surprised me very little.

I have a friend who used to work with me who has a Local Motors Rally Fighter. When you buy one you also go to Phoenix to work on final assembly for a couple weeks. They are about $100K and are built on a tube chassis with typically a Corvette motor and specialized drive and suspension components. He races it in the Baja 1000 yearly and drives it to work a few days a month(after fixing the body panels  ). Only vehicle in the world that can do both off the factory floor.

Yeah, I know what they are... I was just looking at the web site a few days ago, thinking "I wonder if they're still around because I have NEVER seen one on the road...

I mean I love Pre-Runners and Baja trucks, but if anyone has actually driven one... They handle like **** on the highway... Like driving a 700hp waterbed. And those tires on the roads here in Austin will mess you up...
So you have something between a Class 8 truck and a trophy truck with a car body... Why? Aerodynamics?
Sure... And it's over 100k...
I mean as an engineering exercise, it's pretty cool, but from a 'why?' standpoint, it kind of makes a Viper ACR look like a Honda Odyssey.

I agree but it is the ultimate on-off road vehicle. Off the shelf ready for both. I've gotten one ride in it and let's say that it doesn't ride on the highway like a Honda Odyssey. We both like in the DC area so not much offloading around here.

I don't know much about the company that makes them. I know they are working on a "printed" car and have a mean drift trike they sell but other than that they are an unknown.
