Calling BS... Didn't believe a word he was saying.

You don't think he has a relationship with Fultz? Cmon man...

Not saying that... He probably knows him but reading his facial expressions, I doubt he's talked to him in a while... I just didn't believe what he was saying in that interview.

I think we need Mclaeds opinion on this one. He seems to always come in the clutch when it matters most.

He actually has the highest disappointment potential for me if picked in top 3.

If I wasn't already so enthralled with Ingram I would contemplate Josh Jack a little more. I do like him.

So...any news when will Lakers work out the top 5 players in the draft?

I think Magic said they'll at least work out Ball, Jackson and Fox. Ball apparently agreed to work out 1 on 1 against Fox. I don't know if Fultz will workout for us if he already has a commitment from Boston.

A Jackson-Ingram defensive combo would be great. There is some question with his attitude, but what he did in the dance was quite impressive when I watched him.

Fultz
Jackson
Fox

My top 3.

With the way Luke covets multi dimensional wings, It's easy to envision some sort of a Jackson, George, Ingram combo at the 2,3,4.

I heard one of the lakers beat writers say that workouts probably won't start before June.

Woj was giving the example of Porzingis' workout with us saying that Lakers are known for having very very tough workouts where they push the player right beyond their physical limits to see how they respond. Porzingis says he almost threw up but kept going. These kids better come ready.

Work outs have already started, but closed to the media, so we will not know who they work out first time around.

That was under old leadership though. Magic/Rob/Luke know what to do.

Ball vs Fox 1-1. Best out of 3. Winner gets to become a Laker.

"It gives us a different dimension, because we don't rely on one or two guys. We rely on five or six guys. If you have a point guard like Jason Kidd, it makes it easier for everyone else to fall into place."

Ball vs Fox 1-1. Best out of 3. Winner gets to become a Laker until MrWaffles trades then along with Houston Pick, Dlo, and Ingram for Jordan Hill.

Fixed this for you.

Ugh I hope we don't evaluate players based on their 1-1 skills.

I don't think we're picking Fox (though if he absolutely destroys him in workouts...). But it'll be nice to bring someone in that wiped the floor with Ball on national television, see if he's learned anything since then and maybe get him a little angry and see how he reacts. His link to Fox isn't going anywhere. I think we take Ball almost regardless of what happens, but I also think it's a win-win for LA to put Lonzo up against him in any capacity they can.

Lonzo Ball will destroy Fox lol. This is his dream since he was born (according to Lavar tho), i dont think he will give any chance to destroy that dream

Me too basketball is a great team game.

I'm sure Fox can get hoops but how will he stop a bigger Ball without fouling him.
It would be nice to watch but not a great factor in assessing Point guards.
It might be better to assess at other positions but not the point.

The point is the Floor General who much have great instincts, play D, breakdown the defense,
No look pass, Floaters, mid-range, three, transition, be the first one down the court on D, Lead
the team and instill confidence amoung many other dynamics.

I take a chance on Ball even though his shot is not great, his father is going to be fun, Blackball his father from the first 20 rows.

A Jkidd/Magic type does not come around that often so that is why I would be willing to take a chance
on an un-selfish player which is rare to find these days.
