Nah man I'm with you. Fish was the last PG we had who was relentless on D and had the authority to really run a team.

Rondo could actually make Ball expendable especially if LaVar doesn't shut up. Anyway, I still hope Lonzo could learn a lot of things from Rondo. It's nice to have them both.

Hey, that would be the absolute best possible scenario. I’d take KD over KL or KT anytime. Having the two best players in the world would be sick.

I argued, and got laughed at, that KD would be the one to pick up Kobe’s glove back when he issued the “it takes a special kind of person to want to be the marquee name on the Lakers...”, or whatever, challenge.

In Spurs FO news, they hired Brent Barry. I think Brent Barry might have the potential to become the heir of some Popovic’s duties one day. Disgustingly good fit. He’s very bright.

Doesn't seem like it will happen given his list of preferred destinations, but I would have considered it a huge, huge letdown if we'd gone after Kawhi and ended up with him. He's probably better than I give him credit for, but I don't really see him as a legit needle mover. Not for the type of money he commands.
