Damn, Winslow is a force physically/athletically.

I'm thinking this draft could be a nice haul for the Lakers. Possibly:
(3rd) Towns / Center (24) LeVert / Shooting guard (33) Hollis-Jefferson / SF 53rd) Staton / PG
Future looks brighter mixing in a couple of free agents!

I actually wanted to ask you guys what you would do with the Clippers pick. You have Black Kelly Clarkson + Randle already on the roster, then you add 3 players assuming the 2nd rounder makes it. That's 7 guys under the age of 25 you have to give minutes to. Then you have Swaggy P and Sacre who will probably be retained, and Kobe though he might not play the full season if it goes nowhere. That's a 10 man rotation where everyone needs minutes.

I say draft a Eurostash that's ready to make an impact in 2-3 years. Those guys will come in and give you instant offense, especially if they're big men.

"Jahlil Okafor is No. 1 according to Chad Ford, but Kevin Pelton's new stat-based Big Board has him 14th."

SMH.

I'd love to see Pelton's reasoning to be honest, he usually has some thought-worthy effort behind his stuff but even stats wise, I don't think you can crap on Okafor, dude's been producing 1.26 pts/possession off post ups, which is beyond great and coach K is totally running his offense through him.

I can't say I disagree with any of that. Especially drafting Eurostrash with the Clips pick. Also wouldn't be surprised to see the Lakers package some of those picks to move up in the draft or use as potential trade pieces to avoid the scenario you mentioned (too many inexperienced youngsters). Nice post

I love Kaminsky, it just sucks that the Wisconsin guards would rather choke themselves out than make an entry pass to him. Another guy I like on the Badgers is Nigel Hayes, not sure if he would play SF or PF in the NBA but if he plays SF he would be a solid role player.

I can honestly say I'd be happy with any of the following draftees...

Okafor, Towns, Russell, and Looney.

I always like drafting guys with high character/intangibles which is why I really hope we don't end up with Mudiay.
