Anybody who gets benched by Luke Walton deserves to be shipped out on the next flight. If you can't play for him, you can't play for anyone.

Hopefully this is a reality check for the Russell fans. All the agent talk. All the per36 talk. Dude had a 94 ORtg against Tier A teams in college. He was handed everything from day one yet he wasn't willing to put in the work. Brook Lopez is the best player in this deal even if he is an expiring contract. Lakers mean business and I love this move. You'll see.

Just stopped by to say Im glad Magic made this trade.
1. Dlo was hype, overrated. No D no leadership, locker room cancer. Head case.
2. We got rid of Maz terrible garbage contract thanks to Mitch and Jimmy
3. Picked up an expiring contact
4.1st round pick combo with 28 and maybe Randel for PG should get him here asap.

Some of you peps are putting Dlo on a pedestal. Trust Magic and calm down. Good thing to come.

just sick to my stomach. what an awful trade. look at harden or lillards numbers at the same age and tell me he isn't gonna be something special. guy will be an all nba level player in 5 years. just unbelievable.

Knick fan here, I wish the Knicks had traded for D-Lo cuz I'd definitely take a gamble on him...

To me it's clear he has talent but why is he playing more like a bench player? Imo it's the classic example of a young player/ man who hasn't really faced anything of importance that demands a sense of urgency from him. Pulling him out of comfort zone, splashing him with a bucket of ice cold water if you will, will force him to view his career and life from a different perspective, and start his engine and I think he could be a totally different/ great player playing with a sense of mission/ sense of urgency.

Nets get a potentially franchise saving player imo.

We are the next franchise trading a young player... but more proven one in KP

in the next few days lol

Dude is barely 21. Rookie year: 105 year.old Kobe, Lou will, and nick young. Even if he isn't a "superstar" he is still gonna be a damn good player. It took beal a few years and look at how good of a player he is just starting to become.
