Keep it up. I don't drink much at all anymore.

Being energetic in the morning is good. My new morning routine: coffee, two multivitamin pills and a banana, and I'm off to the races with Kobe-like focus. Try to slow me down and Dikembe Mutombo will magically appear to wave his finger at you...

I can't do mornings for some reason... no amount of coffee makes me energetic, no amount of sleep will let me wake up not groggy and cranky. The only times when I wake up energetic is when I get up and it's like noon, so I get to start the day with lunch.

It's truly a great feeling.

I'm a night owl by profession and I hate mornings more than anything else. My brain starts working full force first after midnight. I used to have a one hour long wake-up procedure and my brain literally wouldn't work right until after an hour. It's still that way, but, and this is a big fat@ss but, if I take my multivitamins right away with my coffee, I'm full speed within fifteen minutes.

I take something called "Life Essence". The brand is called "Pure". Whole Foods carries it. Good stuff. Two in the morning, then two more in the afternoon and evening. It makes a great difference in how sharp my head is. I guess they have living stuff in those pills somehow, I guess it's healthy cultures of bacteria or something... I can highly recommend it to those of you who are like I used to be

Yeah, mornings freaking suck. This may have to do with going to bed at 5, 6 am though.

There's something about the way morning light angles into the room that makes me believe I should still be sleeping.

Coffee never did much for me, but 7-8 hours of sleep and lots of water generally make me feel pretty decent.

I love how everything is so quiet after 2 AM.

^ Yeah, that's when I do my best work. At 2 AM I can relax, knowing that everyone else is sleeping and that I for sure won't miss anything. That's when I can let my mind drift and write peacefully.

My best time to work or study is after mid night too and I love burning the mid night oil before exams and deadlines. There's just that freshness knowing that you are working when everyone else is taking a rest, it just makes me more efficient.

I'm not a huge fan of flavored liquor, but Effen Vodka Black Cherry makes some of the best mixed drinks I've ever had.

Is it just me or is Ketel really pushing its advertising? I've seen so many ads for it recently.

I've never been a huge fan of mixed drinks or hard alcohol.

I think this comes from my somewhat unfair and immature perception of guys holding beers as "solid guys" and those holding mixed drinks as "douche bags."

I know, I have a lot of growing up to do.

Beer is infinitely superior as an actual drink, like something you'd have with a meal. It's just not strong enough... either that or I don't have a big enough stomach to hold enough beer. I always end up getting full way before I can even develop a buzz.

I feel like beer is best with greasy fast food type meals, wine obviously with more nuanced food, Scotch whiskey on the rocks for just chillin and chatting.

Nah, when I was there ( for nearly a year ) I was 18 and there was no age limits. Not to mention, it is looked down upon to not drink. Atleast with the folks I knew... They like their booze and I like them for it.

fu***ng close to water"
