 8-)

At least you're not being ranked consistently lower then a team that would probably be the worst defensive team in the history of the game, even with a player like Ratliff.

It's all good man. Just for fun and games. It would be dope if there was some sim website where we could insert everybody's team, but I'm not sure nerds like basketball that much.

bull....with Thibs as a coach they are better than they look on paper

And the offense makes the difference here....shooting,PG that can run a pick and roll at perfection and find the shooters over and over again, floor spacers and a big who can do damage in the post
Perfect offense...

I think only team KB89 can slow that team down on D a little bit....but they can score with the best of them and even with an average D,they will outscore their opponents based on the offense firepower more often than not

As far as your team goes, not seeing what the big deal is....it's a close bracket, and I'll tell you why your team CAN(and probably will lose IMO) to the other two teams

No shooters
No post presence (don't give me Elmore Smith) on O
Better D than team Doormatt for sure, but not outstanding either....

If team Doormatt clogs the lane,or zones up,what do you do?.....neither Nixon nor Baylor or Worthy are good outside shooters, and you don't have a big to throw the ball to and get you big points in the paint

Iso ball ....

i dont see how thats possible, unless you think prime gasol was an awful defensive player as well, which he obviously wasnt.

and the fact of the matter is Thibs has taken rosters with far less defensive talent and made them top defensive teams.

last year Carlos Boozer played 32 mpg, Marco Bellinelli played 25.2 mpg and Nate Robinson played 25.2 mpg. Deng had his worst year on defense in quite some time and led the team in minutes. thats a bunch of minutes being taken up by not very good defensive players and yet the bulls still had the 6th best defense with the only consistently good defensive player being Noah and Jimmy Butler kind of.

and i dont think theres a team than can stop mine offensively. the Nash/Gasol pick n roll with Rice and Butler on the wings is pretty unstoppable. plus in crunch time i have one of the most clutch players ever in Nash + one of the greatest shooters ever in Rice. in a close game, i would favor my team as well. even if the defense is not that great i dont see how anyone can keep up scoring with my team. even if you stop the pick n roll, Butler/Nash/Rice can all iso and you can not double on Gasol down low because hes such a great passer and if you give Rice or Nash space they are going to rain threes on you. worst case scenario my team plays some complicated zone defense Thibs draws up and then just outscores you, which wouldnt be hard.

even with meh defense my teams offense is unstoppable and Nash has proven it doesnt matter who the coach is. Alvin Gentry is clueless compared to Thibs, i dont really think it matters that hes more of a "grind it out" coach when hes never had the offensive talent that this team has.

Dont underrated Thibs here, hes obviously a defensive genius and its not like he enforces any style of offense. the reason the team had to play grind it out ball last year was because they had **** offensive players, im sure he wouldve loved to have a guard who could just run plays for him.

If anyone gets bored, feel free to do like a 6 year peak average win share number crunch for each player on each team.

Bribes. Or a time machine to go back and not select Vujacic. The decision is yours.

When you go and screw up everybody's draft board by selecting everyone's number 1 sleeper pick in Vujacic, people are going to hate.

i already choose Sam Perkins to extra foul. Wilt can't shot FT to save his life.

Gary Payton, Rick Fox, Derek Harper good enough to contain Kobe, and i had better coach, but game is just a game

(i bet people forget Rick Adelman reachs the final twice in 90s, and coaching one of the best offensive team in 00s.)
