and so many of those suck so bad. I got a Misfit shine for X-Mas and its a nice piece of hardware with everything you need to track movements but the software is so limited that the incompetence would be funny if it doesn't cost $100.

It has a 3 way tracking sensor that should theoretically give information on velocity, incline etc when you bike and it barely does anything more than count steps, which I can get from a $4 pedometer at Walgreens. Hell I have a free iPhone app that gives me all of the things I mentioned along with my bike route mapped onto a google map that the $100 fitness trackers can't do.

I keep telling you the Garmin watch. Biggest downfall is the battery life.

I'm not going to spend money out of my pocket for it when a free app does the same work. I'd consider the garmin watch if I took cycling seriously other than just a commute.
