Amazing defensive class for the Trojans. Seriously, John Houston, Osa Masina, and Porter Gustin is Cushing-Maulauga-Rivers territory. Combine that with another shutdown corner in Marshall... with returners Adoree and Sua... yikes. Oregon's reign is over.

shameless spotify playlist plug: http://open.spotify.com/user/1229292376 ... sDXYgFaA0o
uri code (search it in the app): spotify:user:1229292376:playlist:125RXi013DwysDXYgFaA0o

it's a playlist that is made by myself with a roommates help. it's a compilation of 4 playlists (chill, random, ratchet and 'other' (mostly classic) hip hop) that we keep - available upon request. it got 20 followers over the past 2-3 months, but stalled recently so i'm plugging it. it's got well over 500 songs and i add a few a week on average.

Followed, I kind of needed some new hip hop for workouts. Pretty large playlist.

Spotify's library, especially for hip hop is unlike anything else I've seen in online radio and its easily the most frequently updated too. I've tried Rdio, Pandora, Amazon prime Music and Google play, nothing comes close.

This guy is built like a Gorilla.
Two years ago, according to BYU football coach Bronco Mendenhall, assistant Bronson Kaufusi happened to catch a pickup basketball game while on the tiny island of Tonga. There, he saw Motekiai Langi -- an enormous teenager with quick feet that belied his size.

On Wednesday, the Cougars signed Langi, who is now listed at 6-foot-7, 410 pounds.

I bought a Mac power adapter from them just a couple days ago after a long long time not visiting that store. RIP. Won't be long before Best Buy follows.

If you want to be a retail electronics outlet, better be a bulk seller like Micro Center.

I don't think we have a Micro Center locally, but I could be wrong. Only Retail Electronics stores I can think of that we have are:

Fry's
Best Buy
Radioshack
*Target
*Walmart

Radio shack is cool if you like building electronics projects. They should have just stuck to that instead of being a general electronics store.
All the DIY stuff today would be great for them if they hadn't tried to get to big and compete with the bigger stores.
I hope they can stick around in some fashion.

I agree, but there are places with a much wider range of electronics components needed for such projects, then again a Radioshack would be much easier to locate near you than an electronics hobby store, as I usually find them. Arduinos can make some pretty cool ****

The whole anonymous online comment thing is becoming a bit ridiculous:

This was likely one of the best science articles I've read written for a layman's perspective in a general news paper.

Schiller’s main search engine is called the Minimotif Miner. Proteins are built with 20 amino acids, and are often represented as long chains of letters. An average protein is about 300 letters long. Schiller’s search engine looks for short chains of acids — motifs — that are known to perform specific roles in other proteins, such as modifying or bonding to molecules. If you find a motif in one protein, chances are it performs the same or a similar role in another protein. If you find a motif repeated consistently in versions of the same protein, from the yeast version to the human version, chances are it’s a very important motif.

Schiller says the extraordinary mutability of HIV makes it an ideal target for his team’s search engines, that it has “huge advantages, not for people, but for us.” If you use his engines to compare the proteins in 10,000 versions of HIV, you will find a handful of motifs that exist in every one. Drugs that attack these points will attack all HIV viruses. If the drugs hit key points, such as where the virus attaches itself to a cell, you could cripple all known varieties of HIV.

Reminds me of the newest episode of the Big Bang Theory.

I agree though man, **** article. just read it. Could've been more thorough yet still retaining some kind of intriguing point, got boring. check this out though, amazing

Just kidding, pretty neat idea to look for patterns in the HIV virus with such a high sample size. I know nothing here, but would it be fairly easy to obtain a 10,000 sample size for schiller and co?

Speaking of Big Bang theory. Im behind a season or two. I need to catch up. I watched the first season of this show called Sirens. Reminds me a little of Scrubs, That cop chick is hot.
