I think it means he used a lime when the recipe called for a lemon.

Energy Drinks are never good for exercising. Like Gek mentioned there's the sugar. Also, theres the huge crash you'll get during or after the game.

ayo thanks Gek and EArl. from now on I'm easing back on the sugars and go all natural + Gatorade during games. carbo load 3-4 hours before a game and hydrate 1-2 hours pre-game.

sports drinks > water >>>>>> energy drinks

boss brought a banana walnut loaf. I'm copying the recipe and make that my pre-game (1-2 hours) meal. 8-)

Don't do sports drinks either tugs. They also have a lot of sugar.
Here's an alternative recipe that I do before races.

"Nature's Gatorade"

1 Gallon purified water
1/2 Lemon
1 Lime
3" of sliced cucumber
couple of pinches of sea salt (don't substitute any other type of salt)

Directions:
1/4" to 1/8" slices of all above and then cut in half
place all contents in jug shake it up, and let it work its magic in fridge for at least 2 hours ( I let my sit overnight)

Consume entire gallon throughout the day. Guaranteed to reduce muscle soreness, lactic acid build up, etc.

Also dipping watermelon slices in a salt solution gives you a good amount of electrolytes.

Meh if he's playing a sport gatorade isn't bad for him. The sugar is a nice quick burst of energy and the high sodium content is helpful when sweating. He'll be burning through the sugar fast enough it shouldn't matter.

Gatorade has too much sugar for any sports in general. I'm just offering a healthier cheap option.

appreciate all your inputs brothers. don't worry EArl, I've been chugging on sports drinks and Gatorade will be a healthier alternative. I'll also try-out your recipe and see how it works. not on game day of course. :P

also found a cheaper alternative for Gatorade but with the same effect. guess what? GULP Gatorades from 711. for the same price of a 500mL bottle of Gatorade, I can buy a 950mL from a Gulp paper cup. 8-)

this guy ain't cheap. I'm just practical.
