Paint drying would have been more interesting.

To each his own. I find most of his speeches and communications, when in an official setting and not a rally, entertaining and informative in the political sense. I like to form my own opinions from the horses mouth, this helps when talking with the nuts that voted for him.

I don't know your overall interest in politics, but apathy is not the way to go with someone like Trump in the White House. That will lead to most peoples worst fears coming true.

Trust me when I say I keep myself inform. I refuse to watch anything of his, but I did read his transcript from the speech. I think this Is probably the most that I have kept up with politics.

Voyeur-ing a new part of the forum. What is this? Seems like such inclusion and online camaraderie that I want to be a part of.

i meant going to apathy if you're normally into politics. i think it's a powerful thing for everyone to know, but no judgement here! my interest definitely waxes and wanes.

There was a Caine's right next to my apartment in Houston. It was so greasy that I used to **** oil the day after eating their chicken.

Big fight going on in the neighborhood about owners wanting to let their dogs run off leash... My daughter was knocked down by a dog off leash twice right as she walked out the door with my wife... My wife asked the lady (same lady both times) to please put her dog on a leash... The lady got all **** with my wife...
She took my daughter to the park by the neighborhood... And another off leash dog ran onto the playground and jumped on her, knocking her down... Again my wife asked the lady if she could put her dogs on a leash... Again the owner gets all ****...

My daughter wasn't seriously hurt, she wasn't even that scared, but it scared the hell out of my wife...

Now everyone is up in arms about people saying they need to keep their dogs on a leash...

When did this change? I thought it was just common courtesy to keep your dogs on the leash unless you're in a designated off leash area, and even there, you're responsible for your dogs actions...

The reason this came up is at the park a kid was mauled and a dog killed by dogs off leash.

As a lifelong dog owner, canine activist, rescuer... I'm starting to hate dog owners... Some entitled ****.

If you keep your dog off a leash you better know how to control its behavior, seems fairly irresponsible.

Yeah, but to me, it's less about the individual people and pets as it is about the over-riding mind-set... Basically, "I'm going to do what I want because I want to, and how that effects you is your problem..." Or maybe more like, "I'm going to do what I want, because I want to, and if that effects you, you're clearly a bad person."

Getting comments like "That's not Austin" is making me want to set a beard on fire...

i think its the law here to have your dog on a leash unless you're in a designated area, is it not there?

either way its not cool to have it off a leash in a public area. even if the dog is very well-trained you never know what could happen
