Mavs have won the season series 3 x in the last 30 seasons.

Pathetic. 11 wins in Los Angeles in 30 yrs. One game where they scored 2 pts in a quarter, another where they blew a 27 pt lead in the 4th. They lost their last one at Staples in March by 28, what they called a must win.

To quote Anton Chigurgh: "You know how this is gonna turn out, don'tchu?"

See, take this back to the Lakers' forum as an example of why Lakers posters are so wildly disliked and disrepected on RealGM in general. Your willingness to blatantly dismiss any team by pointing to LA's long history of success against them. You can say that about just about every team in the league, and you're all oh so willing to say things like this. Don't be surprised when you all get insulted. You deserve it.

Everybody is fully aware of the Lakers' long, illustrious past. Mavs fans are fully aware of our lack of high level playoff success. So what should we do, just close the franchise down, or should we play our bench and save our starters from the humiliation of being thrashed by the Lakers' starters, or what?!

How about let's be in the present. It's our current 12 vs. your current 12. You have the advantage. Seems like that would be enough for you guys.

I can't really speak to the true character of the Lakers' organization. As for their fan base ...

What a pathetic post.....really because I've seen you post before and you're so much better than this. You can't lump a whole fan base because of a thought of one poster. And fact is his post was legit because it wasn't just some rambled rattled off post.......those were the FACTS period. The crux of your disappointment was because he had a history to rely on as a basis for downing your team it pissed you off. That's just being real and calling it as I see it.

So weather Laker fans are disrespected or disliked to a certain degree here we'll never fully know anyway because there is no way in hell such poll or thoughts on the matter can be expressed here. It's totally childish and immature to even retort to such analysis of a fan base. You guys kill me thinking that you can 100 % predict how we all are. People are allowed to express their thoughts especially if it was factual and not fiction.

Bottom line is you were seething clearly because he talked down on the Mavs history, not once did he mention current players. He did mention current games that took place but that was it. So if it makes you feel all high and mighty with jumping on the redundant myopia of railing on the Laker fan base then go right ahead.

No they don't, and if you saw the game today you got your answer. A team with no interior scoring is going to be hard pressed to win a title.

Memphis in 6..maybe 5. Anyone who watched the game today saw OKC get owned. Its a bad matchup for OKC. Memphis is using their size.

lol. Did you mean to post that here? I'm not sure why you're wasting time responding to him Deep, it's not like it's going to do any good. He just like other fanbases are upset at the amount of fame and success the Lakers have received and wishes their team holding of the same position. Keep those Hater blockers on and don't let the pion get under your skin. He's right though, Laker fans do have bad reps for whatever reason. But whenever someone tries to generalize us as a whole I'm always sure to correct them. I'm glad you did the same.

If this lasts for an entire series the Boston media will destroy Ainge sooner than after our meeting in the Finals.

Z-Bo and Marc is a little too much for Perk and Serge to handle.
The difference from Marc and Zach compared to Nene and Kenyon is their decision making.
The Thunder realize that now after taking this Game 1 ass whoopin'.

Another reason is OKC's Superstar point guard.
Russell Westbrook needs to realize that he needs to get his teammates involved more.
Selfish point guards hardly prosper in this league especially when there not even the best player on their team.

If Westbrook would try to get his bigs more involved in the paint by penetrating and dishing I see the Thunder having a solid chance in this series.
If he continues to be this damn selfish the Grizz will continue outscoring the Thunder with points in the paint and this series will be over faster than expected.

An as for this Heat/ Celtics series, the C's are in desperate need of an enforcer in the paint.

Perk's long gone, and Jermaine ain't trying to get into anymore Dwyane Wade Posters.
KG has the intensity but not the build to stop Lebron and Dwyane slashing to the rim all day.

Artest sig won.

Like Wilbon said, the only reason as to why I can think Boston is playing like it is, is because of the 1 week they had off. They've got to get into a groove of things again, and I expect them to bounce back in Game 2. But I also expected OKC to win today........so...yeah.

That post came from the GB in the Laker/Mavs thread, I posted it here because I knew I was going to light into his ass real bad. So instead of risking a warning there I responded and copied and pasted here on our board. He really didn't upset me at all, I just hate it when these guys try to lump us with the Laker fans who only boast and brag because we win, them guys don't even post here. But that Mavs fan attacked a guy who does post here on the board.....went to bat for my bro simple as that.

They look old, and the pace is too fast for them. They gotta get the Heat in a half court battle.

that and the fact they played a cream puff defense, they're kinda going through some shock right now with the heat's D, they should adjust though.

It'll be a trade Boston will live to regret, whether it's in this series or in the Finals. They were foolish to look towards the future and broker the present especially when they had a chance to win it all now, and their future is anything but certain. I hope Austin Rivers is worth costing their current stars a title.

As you should've, good for you. I know exactly what you mean, those posters claim Laker fandom but I've never seen them in here before. They really give the fanbase as a whole a bad name and make us look like self-centered egotistical **** when we're really nothing like that. I can't even post in a thread on the GB without being associated to one of those pricks. Cavemold, LefraidJames. Those are two of them that I think of off the top of my head.

If Boston wants to win this series Rondo needs to be more aggressive. Miami has done a good job on him so far. They also can't be giving up 3s to guys like James Jones the way they have this game. He is absolutely killing it today.
