You don't think it was intentional?

Seriously? Do you know what the words "INTENTIONAL" and "MALICIOUS" even mean? I'm pretty sure you don't.

I can never tell on the Internet, are you just screwing around, or do you honestly believe that?

you don't get on anybody's grill like that during a celebration and expect not get hit. yeah yeah it was brutal and MWP should get five games suspension, but come on! take the tampon out and man up.
Nah, while I don't think it was intentional in the slightest, you just can't have guys knocking people out with elbows. If that was done to one of our players, there isn't a single one of us who wouldn't be livid.

When your team is taking the ball out, you try and get open, you don't run and throw your body on a defender. He's correct, Harden should've went and scored on him as opposed to going and getting laid out.

So should the league office actually suspend James Harden instead, for instigating the elbow that resulted in a gross injury?

No, there's just zero justification for what Ron did. I don't think he did it on purpose, but unfortunately that doesn't matter. The bottom line is, you just can't excuse or tolerate flagrant elbows, no matter what the circumstances.

I wouldn't call it fake sympathy as much as trying to take a global view. Like I said, if Harden had done that to Kobe, we'd all be going ape isht...

It was an elbow shot, to the back of the head, wound up (MAKING IT INTENTIONAL; it was impulsive, but it was STILL INTENTIONAL, even if he didn't think about it) -- incredibly vicious. And Harden didn't see it coming.
He's definitely concussed -- he had light sensitivity and headaches and didn't come back out of the locker room after initially being cleared. They wouldn't sit him if he were 'ok'. Concussions can seriously hurt you long term, so this is a serious injury.
Summary: ron artest intentionally blindside hit a player with his elbow, and they are injured and potentially out for the rest of the season (see: Gerald Wallace, Blake Griffin in college, Najera; CONCUSSIONS ARE NO JOKE)
Artest should be banned for the rest of the season + 20 games next year if they really want to send a message that elbow shots to the head ARE NOT OK.
