TyCobb wrote:Lonzo is too much of a defensive monster to not start. Cant wait till this Rondo starting experiment is over.

He is also conversely too much of a offensive liability to start. Rondo shoots the 3 better, free throws better, and finishes at the rim largely better. He’s also much quicker and more decisive in the half court about ball delivery and where to go. Ball doesn’t have the onions to tell Lebron where to go and holds it too long at times which is why Ingram gets off rhythm like last year. Rondo is the better player and starter right now based off merit and play

I wish we could pay Tayshaun Prince to teach Ingram how to defend with his length

Yuk

Rondo/McGee both with 2 fouls before the 2nd quarter

Ball will be able to have a good run this game.

And... let’s look at this backup center spot

This is when Luke should yank Ball for them falling apart and hold him and Hart to a higher standard. Hart did some **** stuff too there.

This will be the challenge all year, keeping everything from plunging into the toilet when LeBron sits. Cannot have that.

That's a reactionary statement. Needs to play through it.

Shooting will be an issue this year. Every single one or our shooters appears to have taken a step backward.

Ball way too passive. Just dumping it off with little impact in the halfcourf.

Second unit was really timid. Too much Lance ball.

No it’s a truth statement. They play through it when they are not trying to win like in years past. He played through it regardless of what the hell he messed up last year.

Phil would yank Fish, Fox, and Horry in his first year in la and they were starters before he came. Did it for AC, Rice, and Harper. Over time those three tightened up and made less mistakes to the point Rice and Green we’re watching Fox and Horry close. Then Harper was watching Fish. They didn’t play through it, they earned it.

Ball is supposed to be the general when Bron and Rondo sit, hell some want him to start. But he’s not decisive in what he wants to do and caused the O to stall. People call for hart over kcp but kcp has less brain freezes, ball stoppages, and blown rotations. Hold them to a standard of a starter if you think they are good enough to start and trying to make them win
