Kobe isn't losing ever since the Utah series it seems like he is doing whatever he wants whenever he wants, nobody can stop him now add that to the fact that we are trying to repeat and also get revenge against Boston lol no doubt about it Kobe isn't going to let us down

Good team, very poor sportsmanship and respect for the officials imo

if it works even 20% of the time (and i suspect that it does), it'd be stupid for them NOT to try and play the refs.

What an awesome game!
I'm proud of our guys. The C's came to play. They played physical and we didn't back down. We matched their intensity and even raised it up a notch.
They were in foul trouble but so were we.
I hope the Lakers come back with even higher level of urgency and intensity on Sunday.
I know about Phil's record when he wins game one of the series, but that doesn't apply here.
The C's are going to come back with desperation in Game 2 and we have to rise above that.

Go Lakers!!!

This is the kind of 3rd quarter I wanted to see. LOVE this isht.

Great quarter by Kobe, Fisher, and Gasol. These boys came to play.

Let's finish this strong and put these fools down in the 4th. No mercy. None.

Semi never seen that hype in you man yeah boi, you go Semi! :D

Yeah man. I've had the most stressful year of my life, and nothing would make me happier than seeing the Lakers beat the Celtics in the Finals. I've been a fan for so damn long (and the older I get, the deeper my love for the Lakers gets) and I think this would be the most satisfying championship that I've ever been a part of. When I became a fan back in the late 80's I was too young to truly appreciate the rivalry, but now I appreciate it plenty and have a deep hatred for the Celtics. It would truly make my summer if we took these cock suckers out.

Very proud of our boys tonight. Very proud.

Nice job getting game one out of the way.

I hope things continue to be positive the rest of the series and Kobe adds to his legacy.

Cheers!

Seeing Semi pumped up is nice usually your low key glad to see the passion, Gasol is taking the challenge and is playing great hopefully he keeps it up for the remainder of the series

I'm not gonna say anything or celebrate or whatever.

3 more to go... :D

The thing that gives me confidence is that the Lakers know how to eliminate that defense this time around.

Stay focused !

Great game tonight. Every guy on the team had a solid game tonight. Few mistakes here and there but pretty solid performance overall. It was good to see Pau Gasol and Ron Artest step up to the challenge and give the Lakers just what they needed.

The early fouls hurt us a little because Lamar wasn't able to get things going but they also took Ray Allen out of the game so its hard to get mad at the fouls. Controlling to boards will be the key to this series so the Lakers are going to have to continue playing big in order to control the series.

+1
That was key.

We controlled the boards and played incredible defense. As good a defense as I've seen us play all year (and I've watched every game)

Artest is the reason he made us turn into a good defensive team his presence alone gives this team a lot of confidence

Kobe's post game demeanor is damn reassuring. He's as serious and pissed off as he was last June.

3 More to get 1 for the thumb.
Thank you, Phil.
