I may look pretty bad for trashing Morris so much, but I don't look as bad as anyone who defended mike brown

If Morris is hitting that open 3, his defensive presence might make him a better option at backup PG than Blake.

Darrius Morris with a great cross over. he just needed to hit that jumper.

I've been mulling that over for awhile now. But I think to be fair to Blake, we give him some burn and the starting nod for the week-two that Nash is out. D'Antoni has long been high on Blake too.

The main thing is, Blake/Morris are similarly speedy/agile. But Morris is much stronger and better guarding the PNR. I mentally cringe at the idea of Blake going under on another screen and giving Ty Lawson/Russel Westbrook that open 20' jumper.

I can't tell if our offense is this good because blake is sitting or because mike brown's gone. we'll find out once blake is back, lol

I'm going to miss Bernie. He deserves props for being the glue in this transition.

Laker fans might as well get used to that. We'll lock down at critical junctures. Dwight and Ron have made a career out out of playing defense and Kobe can still lock down when need be. Veterans will step it up when the time calls for it, I'm confident.

Exactly, it's like a quote I read from Shaq today, he said " championship teams will want to play defense". We'll be OK, this break neck pace wont be like this come spring. That's when you run a control break.
