The Celts didnt show me anything in the sense that they could dominiate us. We were off..Kobe had a bad game and we will come out with better fire on sunday and I feel confident.
We can definitely beat this team, but at the same time we squandered a great opportunity. We were just awful in the second half. I'll credit half of that to outstanding Boston defense, and half to our shooting just being off. I'm not going to start worrying unless we lose Game 2.

I'm not surprised in the least that Lamar and Pau got worked over on the boards. It sucks, but can you really be surprised? But I have to say, I'm stunned at how atrociously bad Kobe was. It's just one game, but if he continues to get outplayed by Paul Pierce, we have exactly zero chance to win this series.

It seems like Paul Pierce all but cemented his place in Celtic history with his dramatic return in Game 1 of the 2008 NBA Finals.
The wheelchair part was cool. Reminds me of another incident.

I'm indifferent. Been so for most of this game.
I'll stop myself from doing/saying something mean right now.
Lets hope that the Lakers recover from this game and outlast the Celtics in this series.
The Lakers could use a boost. But they don't need too much.
The players got to look inside of themselves for the strength and confidence to pull through this series.
We can beat them.
We should beat them...

Who cares? Did the Lakers win?
go hit a wall, it'll make u feel better.
as for trevor ariza, if he didn't play tonight then he's not playing any significant role this series. he's simply not in physical shape to do so. time to stop counting on him to do much of anything.

I'll be honest with you. Even if we dont win this series this has been a way better year than I expected. When we get Bynum back next year we will do some damage. Im upset but I mean come on. This year is better than most of us expected. I still want to win but Im looking at the big picture. Plus, they have home court avantage, they were suppose to win.

dude you are talking about who shot better in a game that we got worked.
i'm talking about the GAME in the GAME thread. i'll move on though, seems like you are simply frustrated over a loss that isn't THAT demoralizing.
i thought having kobe have to switch over on sam after he made 3 straight on fisher and then having kobe guard pierce all night took its toll. thats why i think ariza is going to be a non-factor. that was a situation primed for him and he didn't even see the floor.
