Some dude got capped by cops on skid row yesterday. Just saw the video. The police are reporting that the guy was reaching for their gun. After I watched it a few times it did look like the guy was struggling to take the cops gun. What I don't get though is why you have to shot the guy 7 times while he's on the floor even if he had the gun. I think one or two shots would have possibly kept him alive and not caused the distress of the public. Im not a fan of cops myself, but i also know that I wouldn't want to be in that position.

I saw that video... They tased him a bunch of times first, and there were 4 or 5 officers trying to get him to cuff up... It's never a good thing to see someone shot, but I don't know what else they could have done. The cop that shot him had to think about his fellow officers to.

There's homeless and then there's homeless... This clearly wasn't the peaceful, down on your luck, bum-with-a-heart-of-gold....

This guy turned into a buzz-saw when they tried to arrest him.

I think it says something when they were there investigating a burglary... Since when is a burglary a crime on Skid Row? Must have been a little worse than a simple stealing thing...

Yeah not like some junkie on skidrow dropping dead is a big deal in the grand scheme of things. The video itself is not clear but if the gun ever came lose from an office's holster, its open for all.

Most homeless people on skid row are not the nicest folk around. My point to take away from this was the overkill on the amount of shots fired. I wonder how the Rodney King situation would have been dealt today. I feel like the guy would have just gotten shot point blank no questions asked.

Was talking to my brother. The acceptance letters are starting to come in. He's gotten into every CSU that he's applied and just got accepted by UCONN today.

In other news, we have a basketball league wherein 6 team captains choose players via snake draft. Guess what?

**** last pick of the 5th round. This back injury hurts my feelings more than my back.

Now I'm gonna go HAM ala Jimmy Butler on dem niggs.

I have to finish additional 2 sessions of therapy though. And they're checking if I have I don't even know how to spell skol-yo-sis. Apparently, this happens normally to women and is more 'severe' to men.
