so were fooling around and stuff and the chick im with coyly asks to listen to my music collection in my room, taking the hint i gladly oblige. minutes later her girl (lets call her CB), who was getting busy with my friend, stumbles into my room asking to listen to music too. Which is messed up cuz im about to get the key in the ignition nahmean. soto reiterate me and this chick are practically coital when CB, who inexplicably lingers in my room, keeps badgering me to play music. This effectively ruined any mood and ultimately led to both girls leaving and me suffering the worst case of blue balls ever.
this bitch had cockblocking down to an artform
They wanted to double team you for sure.

I'd be honest DD. of all those artists you've mentioned I can only name probably 5%.
you did write hip hop songs for those artists? wow. if I may ask, how much do you earn per song? do you get royalties if someone else performs it/makes a cover?
speaking of Metallica, I didn't like their Grammy's performance with Lang Lang (?). piano seems lost out there. he was great but I didn't just get the point of doing it with him.
-Didn't see the grammy's I'll check it out, though.
-Music contracts are always different on writing... sometimes you are basically working hourly wage style when you shouldn't. I needed dough very badly, so I don't see of dime of that stuff anymore, but I did continue to get to pay rent haha.
So what are your favorites? I'll try to find relatable offerings out of my list for you to listen to since I think those guys make life better in general with their music.
heard your "TNT" DD. it was badass.

I listen to a variety of genres and mostly from our local bands. international artists are really few and sometimes only a song sticks to me. quicklist would be: Audioslave, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Posion, Def Leppard, Soul Asylum, Third Eye Blind, RATM, Sound Garden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gin Blossoms, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Alter Bridge, etc. I also enjoy listening to independent artists who make covers. as for our local acts I'm not sure if you ever heard of them but I believe you did listen to The Yes Yes Show (said something about the bass part I forgot). only local bands that hit the international scene I believe were Rivermaya (when they were relevant), Slapshock, and Kjwan.

Tugs- have you heard Live at Java Joe's by Mraz? It's the live album he did before he signed to Sony. The whole thing is pretty great and a lot less corporate that everything i hear from him now.

Have any of you guys been following the Winter Olympics? I was listening to sports radio on the way home and there's a lot of talk about the US hockey team, apparently they're really good and are the early favorites to win the whole thing.
