Flying to LA for a few days to visit family. Haven't been in a while. I hope it isn't too hot over there.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

I bike along Rice University track to get to work and have to say all the co-eds are running around in tiny shorts and titty popping bras.

some buddies of mine lived above pitt football players. one night they were drunk and just started shouting "fox season" every time a chick like slava described walked past.

what are some good fiction books i should read? i'll let ya know if they sound queeah.

/edit - i like science fiction, not a huge horror fan but i'll read it (just read Horrorstor). any mystery or thriller thrown in there is fine as is politcial satire. recently i've been reading through michael crichton and christopher buckley which are on the easier read side. not looking for something like cloud atlas at this particular time.

fiction is such a broad subject, you have to be more specific. Kurt Vonnegut is my favorite science fiction-ish author of all time if thats where you wanna start.

u should read kurt vonnegut then, its sci fi/satire and its not very difficult to read at all. i would suggest breakfast of champions, galapagos or cats cradle. if u like short stories Welcome to the Monkey House is very good as well.

Vonnegut is more gallows humor than science fiction alone, some people like it, some people get bored/sick of it. Cat's Cradle is my favorite book from him and probably what I'd start with. He gives you a good intro to his dry wit and philosophy that he touches more broadly into other books.

I thought it lost all quality after season 6. That finale was painful enough to put me off of it.
