i think the lakers played a deceivingly good game. the nuggets did everything in their power to give away the game. the supporting cast played 4 on 3 the entire half. fisher was uncharacteristically hot. melo went down in the 1st half. lakers played pretty horrible d in the first half. once the nuggets stopped doubling, they went on a run and the lakers were all of a sudden stagnant on offense. iverson was in chucker mode most of the game.

It seems like Luke's bball IQ has gone down quite a bit... is that possible? LOL

Very nice win by the guys.

One interesting point I want to bring up is when we gave up our lead we had Kwame in there, as soon as we got Ronny we easily were able to get that large lead back.

Yes I know Ronny did not do most of the scoring, but he brought that energy in there.

his ankle is probably a lot worse than anyone knows. luke isn't being effective in the post at all, something he has shown to be very good at. his patented fadeaway is getting blocked in his face because he's not fading away as much as he's leaning back. also, although luke never really got any lift on his jumper, he looks like rick fox right now with his set shot.

Great win.
Man we needed that.
DFish was aggressive and shot superbly. Thank god we got him.
Kobe was phenominal. He was looking for open teamates all night long. He made some incredible passes for easy layups and dunks.
He passed the ball and trusted his guys and they rewarded him by hitting their shots(not always the case)

Awesome win. Let's jump on the Spurs early and take one from them.

Great win by team L.A.

I loved the way Kobe played last night, he got everybody involved. Fisher played great, I actually love him as our 2nd option and LaMar as our 3rd when Bynum is out.

Great win.

We have two guys starting that have absolutely no lift in their feet..in Kwame and Luke. Having Turiaf starting in place of one of them might be a good idea.

The fans need to cheer when Kwame does do positive things. We obviously need him in the next few weeks. The booing was just terrible the other night. The Lakers fans at that game must have had a low IQ since we need a confident Kwame to help hold the fort until Bynum returns.

By the way what is up with this 'jump' flash defense the Lakers are playing. The players jump out and then the opposing guy just blows right by them almost always.
Kwame Brown is servicable, get over it.

Definitely, it was a nice win, we really needed this. Kobe trusted his teammates and he was right. I enjoy these team victories. Now take on the Spurs and blow them out!

GO LAKERS!

Ya, what you said makes sense, but I was actually referring to the fact that he held onto the ball too long when he got it which either A) resulted in a bad pass B) resulted in a Luke TO C) bad shot selection... the fact that when he took the C) action and missed was due to his injury, but everything else just seemed off.

Disagree with that totally. Denver is no different then Phoenix or Dallas because all they do is rely on the jumper. The same reason they won't ever win just like the above mentioned is the fact they have no inside presence. The reason the Lakers got bogged down is because "everybody" that was a perimeter player felt they had to shoot the 3 ball on every possession which resulted in long rebounds for the Nuggets. Who in the hell would've thought Camby would facilitate their offense to a certain extent.

As for Fisher his shots came from the Nuggets inability to rotate to him or just refusing to do so thinking he would miss. Now if that was last season with Smush Lakers don't win that game plain and simple.

Don't get me wrong; I love Jack in the Box. I've probably put on about five pounds thanks to their steak and egg burritos. But the tacos? I wouldn't feed those things to my dog (if I had one).

The thing I always get a kick out of is that they don't even put real cheese on them; they just use folded-up pieces of processed American. Straight out of a middle-school cafeteria.

Although I have to admit, I should probably remove the stick from my ass and enjoy the spectable of Staples freaking out down the stretch of a blowout over the possibility of free 99-cent tacos.

As long as you get an old lady in a hair net and a smock to serve it up to me, thereby completing the cafateria feel, it's a deal.

Good Game last night guys tough loss for us to lose Melo in 2nd Q and possiably a few games. I did'nt get to see the 2nd half but since ya'll won I hope Brown had a good 2nd half. I was rooting for my boys the nuggets but had to root for Kwame even if he is making the cash you can't help but feel sorry for him. Anyways the 1st half was fun hopefully we will meet again maybe the WCF lol...
