Anybody see Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford? I just saw it on DVD, it wasn't in theaters for long.
I think it was on the level of No Country For Old Men and There Will be Blood.
Casey Affleck, in this movie and in Gone Baby Gone, shows that while Ben got the height, Casey got the acting skills. He should have won it over Javier Bardem, although he probably should have gotten nominated as the leading actor rather than Brad Pitt, who has much less screen time and much less character development.
Gotta love these westerns. 3.10 to yuma could have been on this level if they made it more of a Bale-driven drama and less of a Russell Crowe action flick.

Oh that reminds me, a few days ago I saw a national geographic program with this dude who reminded me of CC. It's called "A Man Among Wolves."
He's absolutely batty about wolves, he found an abandoned litter of 3 pups and raised them, then lived among them. He would wear the same clothes so they could recognize his smell, and he would share in the kill as well. He established himself as the alpha male by biting these wolves (he would literally bite them on the face and ears), it was terrifying to watch. He taught them how to howl, taught them how to catch fish, etc.
I found a preview:

Nice find miles. That's a bit of what it was like raising Bruce. I've bitten him and been bitten to establish dominance. But instead of living outdoors with them, he lives indoors with me and instead of Caribou he eats sushi. That dude certainly knows alot more about wolves than me.

Torres is the savior and Liverpool still do not know how to utilize their attacking resources in Gerrard, Benayoun and Babel. They might do well against defensive minded Italian sides especially someone like Inter, who've been a champions league joke for quite sometime now but they'll have a hard time when they face teams with attacking flair like United and Arsenal.

I'll be back here more often as soon as things are in better order.
I can't imagine how things could go bad with a good-natured, hard-working talented dude like you. But I'm sure it must be pretty bad if you're struggling with it.
Good luck man, let me know if there's anything I can do.

Yeah, just finish that damn script and hurry up with the shooting so we can work together.
Thanks for the sentiment, miles. I really appreciate it coming from you. I'm trying to make sense of it all. I truly have no enemies, I never ever treated anyone badly, and from what I'm told, I'm good enough. There must be something good around the corner. I still have my ears and my hope. Must stay positive.
