Seriously though. Bourbon, like Brandy, goes good with desserts. My favorite is there's a restaurant in San Antonio that does this pecan pie ala mode thing that's really more like a pecan brownie, and they have Pappy Van Winkle by the glass, and a really good Pecan Porter on tap.
Sip the Bourbon, eat the pie, wash it all down with the ice cold porter... Life doesn't get a lot better.

It's all pretty expensive (especially the Van Winkle), but worth it at least a couple times a year.

I always seem to be there when the Lakers are in town too... Which is weird.

This is the first I've ever heard of doing such a thing. Seems like a good way to raise that blood sugar up.

tomorrow I'm going to drop the mic on a much bigger act because they are contemplating retiring and their band wants me to and I gave the lead singer a chance to collaborate but it was met with silence. So I'm going to take 6 songs, do it dynamically with their band and leave it at a fever pitch they will never be able to come back up to. This will be a clear message that the time to retire is now... or they may rise to the occasion, but either way I'm going out apollo creed style... I hope there is video to show you later.

yeah! it's 2 blocks from PNC park. i'm super excited right now.

i'd have signed the paper work there, but my interview with the ceo ran over (we talked for over an hour) and I told them while I'm interested I still want to read everything first before I put my name to it so they told me to call them in the next day or two. Hopefully start knocking the HR onboarding off by Wednesday of next week.
