D-Lo and work in the same sentence? I honestly can’t remember him working hard esp on defense. Never saw him dove for a loose ball ever but ok.

Remains to be seen but I’d hope so. Happy trails, Dennis!

And,

Happy trails, Lonnie! Sad to see you go. The Nets were smart to grab you!

1. either Dwight or Robin Lopez (woods is a distant third because I think we need a veteran who will hammer some folks, play D, and rebound)
2. Jay Huff on a 2-way is indeed a good call with his D, 3, and youthful but NBA ready strength and size.

I wish they went after Metu or Len instead but Rob probably knows what he is doing.
Huff looked good in the last SPL.

SO I hear Gabe has a shot at starting PG if he beats Dlo?

COOK EM GABE. Show DLO what Heat culture all about. Get em!!

Man sucks DLo somehow plateaued. Gabe should be a solid starter though. Hopefully this lights something in DLo as well

Coming in peace from down the hall. Pelinka has had himself a great summer so far, from the drafting of Fino, to utilizing the available cap to stay under the CBA while properly filling out the roster.

While playing with LeBron on the court, he absolutely will be, a much better shooter. Not as good on defense but puts in a ton of effort.

He's the kind of scrappy guy you need.

This is the million dollar question. Not because Schroeder is great. But he has proven quick twitch ability defensively, and the big problem we had by trading everybody away for Westbrook, was schroder developed a chemistry. We gonna see what type of defense Vincent can provide

I like the signings even if mostly potential at this point.

We need a robust center for the minutes we get finessed on the defensive boards.

Really impressed with this offseason. They managed to keep Rui/D’Lo/Reaves without overpaying and based on the other deals that were given out i think Prince and Vincent were solid additions. I hope they re-sign Tristan Thompson at the vet min as well.

The team is now really deep and i think they match up really well against anyone (except maybe Denver) and i think we’re in a good position to make additional moves during the season if need be.

D’Lo / Vincent / JHS
Reaves / Christie / Reddish
Lebron / Prince / Lewis
Rui / Vando
AD / Hayes / (TT)

So who likely takes most of the minutes/shots that went to Lonnie/Beasley

Team looks deeper, but missing a Monk/Lonnie type of player that can give some scoring punch off the bench. Not sure what to expect out of Reddish

Should've resigned Schroder, man.

Both are pretty good on ball defenders, Gabe is slightly better shooter but Dennis is more explosive attacking the lanes allowing him to get to the FT line 4-6 times versus bad teams. Unfortunately Schroder becomes less effective when facing good teams in the playoffs. I love Dennis’s toughness, gutting it out even he rolls his ankles but Gabe is also younger

I'm a little concerned about losing Schroder too... He was pretty great for us last season... Although, he has also royally sucked for us in the past as well...
So, I'm not worried enough to call it a bad move or anything just yet...

Schroeder’s one-on-one man defense is good, at stretches it’s been close to elite.

His team defense instincts are mediocre at best.

His offense is mostly bouncy-ball clock eating incoherent dribbling, which I can personally appreciate not having to watch anymore.

I’m impressed with his competitive spirit and his toughness playing through injuries. Looking forward to seeing that Heat spirit replacing him.

Vincent seems to be the better offensive player and the tougher competitor of the two. Hoping his defense is good enough to start him. His shot will open up the floor.

Would have been better than DLo. I'd even pick Lonnie over DLo.
