You are most likely correct. They did however take Luke Walton from us last season. And he is even more worthless that MWP.

So D12 still hasn't up and said he would sign with us, right? I'm not sure if it's worth Pau and Drew for a stab in the dark. Although, I do have total faith that our organization can convince him to re-up with us.

Drew and Pau are totally worth D12 though. I just hope we had some certainty from Dwight.

It may be worth it if it is for the long run, but not the next season so it is not what Lakers have in the mind. They are cashing in for the upcoming season.

Who said anything about Pau and Bynum for Howard?

Is Pau not included in this speculated cavs/lakers/magic trade? If not, then never mind.

Oh, thought it was the value you are speculating about to get Howard. The current framework of the rumored three way trade is just Bynum and maybe more of the little assets.

I have faith that Pau will be a Laker. Gasol is going to greatly benefit from Nash's style of play. Who knows, his value might skyrocket along side of Nash.

His value will especially after the Olympics and playing alongside with Nash.

Nash got Frye paid big time and what you think he will do to make Gasol look like?

then we have to give up pau as well

No we can fit him in salary wise unless the trade checker is wrong. Moving Blake, McRob, Eyenga, & Goudelock with Bynum is just enough to take Varejo and Howard on.

That's good to hear. I remain adamant that a committed D12 is worth Pau and Bynum though.

This is what I came up with...

Lakers
Dwight Howard
Jason Richardson

Cavs
Andrew Bynum
Glen Davis
Chris Duhon
Quetin Richardson

Magic
Tristian Thompson
Anderson Varejoa
Daniel Gibson
Luke Walton
Josh Mcroberts
Christian Eyenga
and obviously some draft picks

That's basically the same trade deal I came up with on the ESPN Trade Machine.

Alex Kennedy ‏@AlexKennedyNBA
Devin Ebanks agreed to re-sign with Lakers for $1.4 mil qualifying offer, but he hasn't officially signed since he may be involved in trade.

The timing is interesting

if you believe the rumors about Nash, JRich will not be coming to the Lakers under any circumstances.

Yes, they are pretty pumped if they could have Irving and Bynum for years to come

Only prob with that trade is ORL isn't taking Varajoe's 8.5 mil for the next 3 years, they want to shed salary not take on more.
