we had incidents here where someone calls at home and says there's an emergency and the home owner or anyone from the family was in an accident . caller asks for money and tells whoever gets the call to meet them so they can pay the hospital bills. rattled and in panic, they give the caller money only to find out everyone is ok and it was a scam.
