how's his overall game? he seems pretty athletic, lots of hops from highlights I've seen.

Defensively, he's there. Offensively, he's best when he attacks the rim. He isn't a good enough playmaker for the lead-ball handler or point guard role, and he isn't the best perimeter shooter, or in general, for a two-guard. UCLA plays him out of position at SF, but he still gets the most possessions run through him and the most shot attempts. Had a better statistical junior year when he had all that talent around him (Kyle Anderson, Jordan Adams), and his efficiency went down this year as he was relied on more.

I'm really curious who Mitch would pick in the 4th or 5th spot.

Right now I'm assuming Okafor, Towns, and Russell are 1-2-3.

trade it away for a declining "star" way past his prime, are there any of those around this off-season? Joe Johnson?

I'd go for Cauley Stein. Automatic chemistry with Randle and fit, athletic big that can defend and finish pick and rolls. That's all we need to solidify the frontcourt.

I'd trade the 4th pick for whomever is in the 6-8 range, let's say Detroit, for their 2015 1st and Top 3 protected 2016 1st Round pick if the target is Cauley-Stein.

If someone picked Exum/Gordon in top 5 do you think a center like him would drop beyond 5? Some teams might pick for need.

Just my opinion, but those guys have considerably more upside than Cauley-Stein. Although, you never know what GM's are thinking. They're picking at the top of the draft for a reason...

Towns just can't be stopped. Very impressive in critical moments of games, not just in this one.

I don't know why you'd assume this when Mudiay has been in the top 4 the entire year on every single draft board i've seen, often ahead of Towns and most of the time ahead of Russell. Not to mention he's the type of player with the physical attributes that will impress in all the pre draft workouts.

I'll take him over Mudiay no doubt.

His hops are sneaky good, not a lot to see from a ball handling perspective and he's made like one pass out of a pick and roll but he's explosive.

He kinda reminds me of this guy, but with a better shooting stroke:

Man this can jump out of the gym. Good outside shooter too.
I'd take him over Mudiay too.
He reminds me a bit of Rudy Fernandez.
I wonder where ends up going.

Dragic and Hezonja would be a pretty awesome offseason.

Ninety-eight percent of the people who comment and rank guys Ike Mudiay, Mario, and Kristaps have only seen them on YouTube. That's really not enough to have an informed opinion.

Mudiay was pretty good in the playoffs. Problem is, he was injured for like ever before that, so a lot of people only have youtube clips to work with.

I understand; don't get me wrong. I just think you've got to see guys in real game time action in order to get a true perception of what they can do. Until I am able to see them play in real games, I don't attest to how good they are or suggest that someone should draft them.

I miss the days when practically every draft prospect was a junior in college that every die hard fan had seen play many, many times.

The game is missing that aspect of fans being able to watch and know all the guys in your "farm system". The NFL has it, to their obvious benefit.
