whatever Rob/Magic/Luke's view on d'lo as a person and his future as a player, still have to trade that off against how (clearly) low his value is right now vs where it could be at, at least, the deadline.

trying to rationalise this but really don't understand... from what i can tell there was no need to dump Moz this O/S. esp. if they didn't already have a deal lined up for George, which is what I - and I presume many - initially assumed they were working towards.

only thing that make sense is that Magic/Rob/Luke fundamentally didn't like something about his attitude and/or his fit w Lonzo and wanted him gone before the Lonzo era began. but then i see that they attempt to trade Lonzo for 5 & 10 w Sac - was this confirmed..?

agreed. but also true that this had been happening prior to Magic - just wasn't as damaging as Jimmy and MItch seemed to have no intention to trade him.
