Devin Ebanks agreed to re-sign with Lakers for $1.4 mil qualifying offer, but he hasn't officially signed since he may be involved in trade.

The timing is interesting

Ebanks is also injured with a knee injury.

the magic are going to let the cavs steal bynum from them for those trash assets? i don't see it.

edit: i assume the cavs are just in there to get a few assets for helping the money work, though i'm just starting to catch up on this stuff

Those rumors also said Nash's ex had a black baby, and the baby is white. I thought it was revealed Nash was the one who had the affair

The Magic have this irrational fear that Bynum will leave 25 million on the table and sign somewhere else. They seem to only care about getting salary off the books + picks.

Andrew Bynum
Glen Davis
Omri Casspi
Dion Waiters or Jason Richardson
Kyrie Irving

I must say, this potential Cavs squad could make it to the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seeded team on a weak Eastern Conference. Pairing Bynum and Irving would definitely give the Cavs a great young 1-2 combo for many years to come.

This Dwight drama is getting annoying tbh. Just trade him somewhere so teams can move on -_-

These rumors were debunked ages ago.

That's basically the same trade deal I came up with on the ESPN Trade Machine.

Only prob with that trade is ORL isn't taking Varajoe's 8.5 mil for the next 3 years, they want to shed salary not take on more.

I honestly think the Magic would take Varajao as he only makes about $8.3M and could give the Magic a young rebounding center they would surely need.

Another Howard Rumor! 3 trade talks in the works

Post#511 » by madtrap347 » Sat Jul 14, 2012 10:44 pm

The Lakers, Magic & Cavaliers are discussing three-team deal that may send Dwight Howard to LA and Andrew Bynum to CLE:

For now, I am going to expect the next headline to be: "Magic tries one more time to convince Howard to stay." This is getting tiresome.

Jason McLaed is calling his next shot, going for his 4th bulls-eye

Jason McLaed ‏@InsiderJayNBA

HOU source believes the media game is back on. CLE rumor put out there to get HOU to absorb more bad deals than they've agreed to so far. If ORL wants salary relief+picks, HOU still has the best offer. Leaks intended to get HOU to settle for Bynum, rather than let CLE steal him

Whatever works as long Howard is in the purple and god is what I care. This thing needs to be done soon so the free agency can move rather than stalling.

Jason McLaed

Broke news on B. Lopez competing offer sheets, ORL holding on to Howard, and Rockets intent to only absorb 1-2 bad deals

SATURDAY, 5:42pm: Ebanks has yet to sign the Lakers' qualifying offer because the team asked him to wait as he may be signed-and-traded to the Magic, reports Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld (via Twitter). Once Ebanks signs, he cannot be traded until December 15.
