I hope he picks up his working out/taking care of his body habits.... that's the only thing that's stopping him from being the Best Player in the NBA and is also the reason he takes breaks on D... he's not that bad,he can Play D when he wants to,he Just chooses not to(takes breaks on that end)... Whats actually kind of funny is that ever since he went down with the injury the Mavs defense has been worse,Just terrible

Meh on Poeltl. Kessler asking price is 2 1sts which is also a big fat no.

You don't pay 1sts for those kind of bigs, when you can get Capela with no 1sts. Who is enough IMO for what we need.


My deal would be the following:

Lakers getting Cam Johnson, Clint Capela, Dayron Sharpe and Vit Krejci.

Brooklyn getting Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent, Koloko and one 1st from the Lakers

Atlanta getting Jarred Vanderbilt, Knecht and Wood.


If they want to include further players between them(Atl and Brooklyn), be my guest.


Why for the Lakers? We need a low usage rim running C who doesn't need the ball. We need a 3D guy and there's none better in the league than Cam Johnson, who's averaging close to 50/40/90 and 20 ppg to boot this year. He's the premier guy to pair with Doncic and Lebron. Sharpe is another useful body at C and Krejci is very underrated and has a nice game, can be molded into a reserve wing.

Why for the Nets? The pick will be in 2031, that might be a good one. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon and heard they are planning to field a huge chunk of capspace for 2026 to sign a star, while tanking until then. This deal gets them that, Johnson has one more year on his deal than both Vincent and Rui.

Why for the Hawks? Capela is a free agent in the summer and they are losing him for nothing. They can't tank because they don't have their pick, Vando helps because Jalen Johnson is out for the year and Knecht can be groomed into a good player for the future.


Then try to dump Maxi Kleber's deal on the Detroit with two 2nds, to try to get under the 1st apron and be able to be players for buyout guys.
