Don't say that.
Let's just say we try to win next one. Those were what happened in the last series. Each series unique.

Kawhi ain’t stupid either. That’s the reason he wanted Jimmy before PG13 too

Yeah I was pushing for that. I thought he was a better fit than kawhi

Imagine Lebron and AD with Jimmy Butler. KCP takes the exception Bradley got. Rondo and Dwight for vet min. Kuz retained. Caruso for vet min which still was a pay upgrade.

KCP
Butler
Lebron
AD
Dwight
Rondo
Caruso
Kuzma

Damn. I guess only silver lining is Clips didn’t get him like kawhi originally wanted over George. Butler would have actually gave them what they needed. Defense, closing, hustle, vocal leader, clutch, playoff player, and facilitator.

I can’t lie though, I’m happy for him. He fits that culture. He’s a Miami type player. He’s a Memphis grit and grind type dude who would have loved the Zach Marc Conley TA days. He just had his Iverson moment on the big stage and it couldn’t have happened to a harder worker

Nah I'm trying to stay positive and I need something to give me some hope. I tip my hat to the heat they played great, but this game left a real sour taste in my mouth.

Give Jimmy big time credit. That was one of the best performances I've ever seen, especially on this stage.

We have to bring our A game on Tuesday. If we don't come out and play our asses off.. this team can win again. I expect Bam will be back.

There's really nothing to take away from this... It was a complete abbaration... And we were still in it.

Only way this game means anything is if our team starts in-fighting or something, or if JB is spent for next game...

Possibly the worst playoff game so far this year. Too many turnovers, AD was terrible and Jimmy had the best game of his life. I don't think we will be this bad again. I expect a strong respond in Game 4 and a W.

Not much to say, we took a dump at center court. AD taking 9 shots? What's up with that?

Huge game by Butler, he's a real baller.

Lakers in 5.

Yeah, I know AD got in foul trouble and didn't score much, but LeBron was easily as bad or worse... Just poor decision making and lackluster play... Dude blew 2 layups...

AD hasn't been playing well for a game and a half now... He needs to right the ship or we may actually be in trouble, and I know I'm going to be on an island here, but I think He and LeBron aren't on the same page about something right now... Not seeing any chemistry there for the first time all season. Which scares me quite a bit...

Hopefully it was just a ratings game and next one we'll come back like we played the first...

I also have this impression, combined with their post-game talk at the end of game 2. Something's not quite right between LeBron and AD. My gut says the FMVP trophy has something to do with it.

I guess the NBA decided they need more games and that it can't be a sweep. There's no other explanantion for this.
It's all scripted but that's the NBA for you..

This was never going to be a sweep, that's just silly. On to the next one.

Bad loss. Quick turnaround. The Lakers should respond as they always do after a letdown game.

2 down. 2 to go. Onto the next one.

It was supposed to be once Bam and Dragic got injured. I fully anticipated double digit wins tbh...But oh well, I'm just gonna chalk up game 3 in the embarrassing/forgettable loss category. Lakers will be out to prove a point the next couple games, I'm scheduling a championship party at my place for Friday.

I am not sure what analytics is showing about Danny Green but he was a bonafide scrub in this game. At one point he missed wide open corner three and got beat off the dribble for a layup and Lebron looked at him and shook his head.
I think LeBron was super annoyed with him last night.

I think them being out actually hurt us. The Lakers can say what they want, but their play showed a team that thought the heat would roll over being down 0-2. Someone said LeBron told butler that they were in trouble after the Lakers made that first quarter run to get back into the game. I expect a more focused Lakers team come Tuesday.

Green did something to his hip halfway through the last game, and after that he hasn't looked right... He was actually on fire that game and moving well, but after they worked on him on the sidelines, that was the first time we say JR Smith in the playoffs. He came back and bricked like 3 3s in a row and a couple weren't even close, and he's not as mobile on D either.

So I think if you're looking for a sign that something's not quite right with DG, check the Box score for JR Smith minutes.

It was phenomenal. Prime LeBronian. One of the most productive games in playoff history from an objective statistical standpoint.

My disappointment is, especially for a team and staff that has excelled at finding solutions on D, how easy it was. Again, full credit to Butler; even if you get those shots, you still have to make them. But we never made any adjustments whatsover. Just let him switch on to one of our guards and back them down into the paint, over and over and over again. I think he had 26 points in the paint, his career high in 600-some games. That's tough to swallow from Duncan or Shaq or AD. A small forward? Unacceptable. Butler is very, very good, but not THAT good.

At some point you have to do something different, even if it's as simple as going under those screens, refusing to switch and daring him to hit some jumpers. Dude is below 30 percent from 16 feet and out. Easier said than done, but do something.

Hopefully we will rise to the challenge, because make or miss, you know neither he nor the Heat are going to back down.

Funny how Heat fans bash a player that won them multiple rings. If it wasn't for LeBron they would still be sitting at 1 ring. lol

Anthony Davis after a loss this postseason has been a MONSTER the following game. Yeah I’d say the Heat are in trouble tomorrow.

W 31 pts -11 reb - 3 ast
W 34 pts - 10 rev - 4 ast
W 34 pts - 5 reb - 3 ast

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
