We have to bring our A game on Tuesday. If we don't come out and play our asses off.. this team can win again. I expect Bam will be back.
It was phenomenal. Prime LeBronian. One of the most productive games in playoff history from an objective statistical standpoint.
My disappointment is, especially for a team and staff that has excelled at finding solutions on D, how easy it was. Again, full credit to Butler; even if you get those shots, you still have to make them. But we never made any adjustments whatsover. Just let him switch on to one of our guards and back them down into the paint, over and over and over again. I think he had 26 points in the paint, his career high in 600-some games. That's tough to swallow from Duncan or Shaq or AD. A small forward? Unacceptable. Butler is very, very good, but not THAT good.
At some point you have to do something different, even if it's as simple as going under those screens, refusing to switch and daring him to hit some jumpers. Dude is below 30 percent from 16 feet and out. Easier said than done, but do
something.
Hopefully we will rise to the challenge, because make or miss, you know neither he nor the Heat are going to back down.
