I really wanted to visit this summer, but my in flux employment situation in march/april meant I didn't have time. There is still a pretty good chance that I visit California some time with in the next year or two though. If I do I will make sure to hit up as many of you guys as I can.

I feel the same, odd isn't it? When I met up with Doormatt I had no doubtful thoughts, I knew it'd be chill. Sure enough, was like hanging out with any other friend, only difference is we met online.

I dunno, it's a case by case basis. Some of my black friends don't mind, but others do. When I was young I said it in a joking manner to a friend who didn't appreciate it, and he was visibly disturbed(a decade ago). Ever since then, personally, I haven't used it. Different people interpret it different ways, so I don't say it at all.

Non-black, non-racist people who say it, I have nothing against. The thing with ****/chink/paki is that some people are always gonna be offended.
