That article has absolutely no meat... Supposedly there's a 'Source' who knows that LeBron would like Melo on the lakers, but that James hasn't actually asked the Lakers to get him, nor will he ask them that...
It acknowledges we have no roster spot for him, and it's "unclear" how we'd get him, and there doesn't seem to be any actual pressure being exerted by James to get him...
But LeBron "wants Melo on the Lakers"...
Mmmkay... Whatever... Call me when you have some actual news not just some made-up ****, The Athletic.

Lol and yet they've been on a tear since the trade. Lol I guess individual stats are more important to Embiid.

Do other teams just spite us in trades for no reason? Seriously the bucks clear 19mill In salary for a late future first (Giannis and bud). But teams wouldn’t take our 2019 first for deng. Cool got it
Warspite:
Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

He doesn't like how the coach is using him.

As long as they keep winning, he needs to keep himself in line.

Re: Around The NBA X
Luka Doncic's last 3 minutes vs Rockets were amazing. Rockets were up 102-94 with 3 minutes to go and then Doncic scored 11 straight points (3 threes) and Mavs came back to win the game.
Saw him live twice in his last season in Europe. You could tell that he'll be a good player in the NBA, but I just didn't expect that he'll be this good so quick and I don't think anyone did. I mean, I know the guy played pro in Europe at the highest level for like 3 seasons but he's still just 19. Happy that he's doing well here...
Anyway, Rockets remind me of our season when we got Nash and Dwight. We all know that didn't end well...

Except they didn't get anyone which makes this season really strange for them.

Re: Around The NBA X
Yeah, and they actually lost 2 good players.
Anyway, it kinda reminds me of our season because of the narrative. Everybody saw them as the only team that could challenge the Warriors (in '13 we were a lock to play the final against the Heat), started slow, no one was worried (they'll figure it out in the end), lost games against bad teams at home, started playing well late in the season and in the end made the play-off, but without Kobe we hand no chance.
The funny thing...or sad, depends on how you view it, we're talking about two teams that were coached by the same guy.

Jimmy Butler's milking that Wolves practice for all it's worth, isn't he... He may never win a championship, but at least he'll have that one practice with the Wolves... Which is nice.
