I know Reaves is going to put the work and development in, he's already a better player for now, and his heart is needed on the team.

I also hope Reaves stays. He is very important once Bron or Luka is out due to injury. And this guys is not afraid of big moments. If he has the chance he will make the last play or take the last shot even if Bron or Luka is in the court.

If we can't get any big until the trade deadline then I think I'll have to live with Hayes and Maxi and see if somehow Luka can make Jax look better. I will let it play out a bit then if it doesn't work well then see who will be in the buy out market or gamble on vet bigs (Howard?).

This is good to hear :) ... Lakers need defense blks and reb. Jonas performed bad twice against Us and I think Hayes out played him and Jonas on the wrong side of 30, need to get younger

I think that Knecht will be a great player, and I just don't feel giving him up for Kessler will turn to be a good deal. And also I think losing that one remaining FRP will come back to bite Lakers in the offseason.

That '27s protection is void anyway and everybody understands that, now that we got Luka. :)
Besides Chicago will demand an FRP for Lonzo, and I'm not sure if he's a good fit in a Luka&Lebron team that will require more outside shooting.

Bulls might demand a frp for Lonzo, but they def not getting that, at least straight up.

I'd trade Knecht and pics for Kessler in a heartbeat, even buy Utah free taco's for life

It's more likely he's cut... I love Lonzo but a FRP is not worth his health gamble anymore

While I agree, anything can happen, rumors have 3 team trades could happen, maybe Lonzo included maybe not, not sure exactly the trades.

I'm on work break atm, I bet I wake up tomorrow or get home later tonight and most wild trades gone through lol

Well damn....GS just got Butler. Fine with that, but that means Lebron won't be going there.

Not hating on Lebron, but the facts are the facts: He's now 40, and the defense is gone. The minutes are decreasing, the PPG are decreasing. It's no shame...but the end is near. Despite the players in the trade....we really got Lebron's replacement, not AD's. We have some serious team-building to get to here.

I hope Lebron calls it in June. It will spare us all an awkward year. We have a little space, but not enough to really make any meaningful deals...not until Lebron leaves. And what we don't want to start doing, is signing guys to 2-3 years to fill out the team...only for Lebron to leave, but now we are stuck for another year or two after that with these new contracts. No....much better if Lebron leaves, and we can just clean reboot.

Good to see we finally on the same page, but like I said will cost a lot.

All In baby; Rui, Reaves, Knecht, FRP ... Kessler, Collins, SVI ... Lots of teams going BIG and this gives us a solid big line up. Svi replaces Knecht well sort of, but you know what I mean I think. Collins Is upgrade over Rui, solid bench player (6thman) for now and well we all know Kessler baby  ... I wanted Sexton b4 but don't think his really that needed now IMO.

Lakers will be fine.

Edit: If you're still worried about the FRP, keep In mind after I think 2031 Lakers own all there pics, If I'm not mistaken :).

I think everyone really likes Kessler but I imagine ex Celtics greats Bird, McHale etc warning Ainge not to help the Lakers anymore or else he would be blacklisted in Boston.
So what do you guys think about the 23 year old Mark Williams? He actually has a higher PER, DRTG, ORTG, PTS than Walker.

Actually averaging 21pts last 5 games.

What kind of assets would be realistic to offer Charlotte?
Other alternatives? Capela? Can Nico still trade Gafford before he get's lynched there?

While my Allround knowledge isn't the best it's getting better, not sure who M Williams is, I'll take a look when home, just starting boring work in carpark lol

Ok Boys, we got our squad. Forget next year and the future, we'll handle that when it arrives. I'm confident in the future. BUT RIGHT NOW....I think we can push for the Final 4.

Sad to see Knecht go...but we needed size. I'm super unhappy about giving up yet another first round pick. They give these things away like dinner mints!

But...this Williams guy will be a great fit, IMO. At 23, he and Luka can be a nice duo for a decade. It's gonna take me a while before this FO get's back on my + side.....but I'm proud of them this week. Made big moves....shook that ship up. Alot is gonna ride on what we can get when Lebron leaves....but this was good work.

I'm excited to watch these guys again! Not gonna lie...it's a weird feeling. I've been so over that old squad since they signed Brick.

Very excited about Williams. If he can stay healthy, I think he'll be a beast along side Luka.

I agree. They just toss them into deals like they're nothing. But...Williams is 23, and ascending nicely. Luka is 25. We'll have some nice cap room after Lebron leaves. I don't think we're gonna be in the draft game for a good decade.

I'm good with the payment plan. Some say over pay. But I'm good with the trade. Tells me we tryin to Win Now This Year.
We've got BAll handlers. We got shooters. We got defense(albeit not the best), but Williams can backline protect. And we got dudes that can clear out the side, go one on one if need be, and get a bucket or dish to wide open shooters

Now ship out Wood & a 2nd for Reath - locked in for 2 years
Or Wood, Hayes & 2nd for Drummond also locked in 2 years

Then sign Lonnie Walker, Dennis Smith or Torrey Craig & I think we're ready

Williams / Hayes
James / Hachimura
Finney-Smith / Vanderbilt
Doncic / Milton
Reaves / Vincent
