I think all my emotion was drained out when Ron hit the 3. I couldn't cry or even yell after the game. When the Lakers won I don't even think I knew what was going on. It was so overwhelming.

Gasol crying was just over whelming man. The guy has done so much for this franchise and you look at his body with all the bruises and stuff and you understand what he's had to go through taking on Perkins/KG/Sheed/Bib Baby all by himself with bynum injured and its just too much for me.

I love this guy. He changed the shape and future of out entire franchise in 2.5 seasons.

Still haven't missed the NBA Finals since hes got here. I think his impact of this team is at times underrated and forgotten about.

Also congratulations from a Celtics fan. I was really thinking we (even sans Perk) could pull this off, but at the end, we simply could not string enough good plays together. I am hugely proud of our Celtics, but we lost vs the slightly better team.

As much flak as LA gets for its supposedly "Hollywood" fanbase, that was as loud and enthusiastic an LA crowd as I've ever seen. They were nuts from before tipoff, they were alternately loud, angry and supportive at all the right times. I watched it on TV and didn't say a word in the early parts of the 3rd quarter when the Lakers got down big, but the crowd stayed in it and never gave in. Good job whoever was lucky enough to be there! When people try to dis Lakers fans remind em games like tonight.

Great job guys. I am not an everyday poster, but I am very proud to be a laker fan. It pains me to have local facebook friends rooting for the celtics, but I am very happy for the lakers. It was a tough game, but overall Boston lost the game. You can't change who the champs are now. Lakers babbbyyy! I'v'e been bitter since 2008, and was pulling for a laker celtic final this year. Now that the lakers won, the celtic fans blame the refs. But I wish I could have favorited this video shortly after the laker-celtic 2008 finals, because it dissected the celtics fouling the laker players back then and getting away with it. Ala, lakers getting fouled after shots like posey did. But the lakers came back for revenge. the celtic fans can blame the refs as much as they want. Maybe a few of you blamed the refs in 08. but the fact of the matter is we are living in the now, and the Lakers are the NBA champions. celebrate safely, and best wishes to an amazing off season, ending the season with another win. Cheers!
