I feel a team should be held responsible for such things. How can they always be clueless? all of a sudden your boy is all of a sudden a monster. I don't watch baseball so maybe I'm way off here, but steroids are far too common in baseball, though I hear bud selig is worse than david stern

Really depends on who was providing Melky with the testosterone. It's not unreasonable to me that the team wouldn't know any better.

you probably watch more baseball than me so you're probably right. I just have a hard time believing they're so clueless, especially when there's a clear benefit for the team to stay quiet. :dontknow:

When the drug rules are so relaxed this will keep happening. Test a player randomly from a team every month of the season and hand out 2 year bans and the sport with clean itself up. Disgusting to be honest to see that in a major sporting league.

agreed. I don't know how this keeps happening. It's as if every good hitter is on steroids. As I said, I don't watch baseball enough to warrant an intelligent answer to this but I just don't know how this keeps happening and all that happens is a little media embarassment. Are there major MLB fines for this??
