Not in a game of this magnitude. Every game is a playoff game now as far as the Lakers are concerned.

That's a pretty poor argument. Orlando has been better than expected this year, but come on dude.

its not poor if you ask me, they were closer to beating Mia then we've been both times, it took a last sec drive by Lebron for them to beat Orl, while the beating they gave Chi on Sun was nice I could still possibly see scenario's like the Pelcian/Raptors game all over again.

We've shown we can get down to any team in this league, and if Dwight has foul trouble ... awfully thin in the middle
i expect a win but the magic have some nice young players - harris was a great pickup.
My expert opinion is, I have no idea what to expect.
Depends which Lakers team shows up

Saying, "we almost beat the defending champions" is absolutely a poor argument for saying a team isn't bad. What happened the other 45 losses? Records don't lie. The Lakers are currently a slightly better than .500 team and the Magic are destined for a top 3 lottery pick.

I think 2 of Miami's losses came against the Wizards without Wall.

yes records do say a bit bout a team and fact we're only 2games over .500 also says we're not that good to be predicting blow out and easy win either.

Maybe this game will be like Lebron's first return to Cleveland as a member of the Heat. If my memory served me right, Heat was struggling before that game then they destroyed Cavs and went on to dominate the rest of the season.

I am, in no way, predicting a blow out or easy win. If you actually read anything that I wrote you would see that. I am saying that using the "we got close to Miami" argument as an Orlando fan to say their team doesn't "suck" is ridiculous. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Lakers need to punish the Magic for that embarrassing loss at our home court. Nothing more, nothing less, just beat them to a pulp!!!

The only player left from Dwights tenure in Orlando is Jameer Nelson, but he is the heart of the team and he will be extremely pumped. Oh, there is Turk also but he is suspended, also he does not really give a crap about anything but pizza and ball. Dwight is definitely going to get booed hard. Honestly it could go either way, Orlando is a terrible team but they have shown flashes of brilliance against good teams and they are in their home court. LA is clearly the better team, but they are still a barely over .500 team playing on the road against a determined opponent.

I would normally agree that you are what your record says you are. Except when you get a new coach a few weeks into the season, play a large percentage of the year without your #1 or #2 PG, have a new starting Center that is not healthy, have your starting PF miss a large part of the yr with injury, and have your back up PF go out for the year with an injury. THAT team might be slightly better toward the end of the year than their record implies, because of early losses sustained due to all of the above mentioned factors.
