It depends on the cost but if you could dump Deng and Clarkson and send them Ingram and no other future firsts then I believe you gotta do it. LeBron fits so perfect on this roster even if it is for one year. The next year we would have him as the lead negotiator to bring two other stars to LA--all three working out the financials.

Ball will make it easier for LeBron to get buckets and will extend his career.

Are you seriously going to trade Ingram, a young buck with a 7'4 wingspan and zero ceiling for a guy that would be 35 after we sign him and starts the season? All for the chance at not beating Golden State? Why?

Ball/Ingram will be special. Stick to the original plan, add PG who is still young and then we can be relevant for quite some time, rather than just a 2 year window if LBJ decides to come here. I don't think we learned our lesson regarding Steve Nash. Remember how good he looked before he got here? Lakers are not a retirement home. We learned our lesson. We need to get young energetic all stars to this team, not guys past their prime.

This! Is why I do NOT want to see lebron in a laker uniform.
We are a bit different here in Lakerland... And that's OK: We don't have to, in some wierd way, involuntarily mentally disassociate the player from the team yadayadayada because our stars embody the team/brand enuf. I meant think of it...Kobe, magic, etc... Even Shaq can't shake the laker thing. But lebron is just lebron and whatever team he's on, well... That's just the team. That's weird. Nahhh bruh... That is uncomfortable as ****. Its too late for Lebron here.

Lonzo, BI,... now those are just getting started and looking comfy.

Stay away lebron. Go anywhere else I don't care. Won't win it anyway.

If he can bring Cousins here and keep him in check I'm all for it.

I'd rather see PG and LBJ, run with Lonzo, Ingram, Kuz, Zu, Nance, and a resigned Randle and Lopez.

I think he's part of a big plan.

I think Lebron will sign for cheap, after we secure two max guys.

Whoever they are. WB / PG / DC / whoever.

This.. this is what im thinking... And Hoping for..

I know, but I just don't like the idea of LeBron on our team. I just said Westbrook just because he's an option instead of LeBron. I really want PG though.

LeBron is ok.... Westbrook and Cousins?!.... yuck! Westbrook is all about the stats not the wins. Cousins is all about Cousins. He's Howard with a jumper. Neither is taking a team anywhere near a title without 2 or 3 other better players. Westbrook was already in the best position he'll every be in and whiffed.

I'd rather have George/Cousins/Avery Bradley.

PG: Lonzo Ball
SG: Avery Bradley/ Josh Hart/
SF: Brandon Ingram/ Kyle Kuzma/
PF: Paul George/ Larry Nance/
C: DeMarcus Cousins/ Thomas Bryant/ Ivica Zubac

Totally agree, but part of me still wants the option of throwing it to a guy who can create his own shot when the going gets tough

If we're only able to grab George, part of me will wonder if that's enough for playoffs when defenses really key in

I think that will be Ingram. He's going to be a scorer just give him time and buckets are going to come easy for him.

I completely agree. I don't really want him here for the same reason, he's gonna decline when he's 35 IMO. He'll give us one good year

Man Brian Windhorst alone makes me iffy about Lebron. What a diva, everyone knows you're LBJ and Rich Paul coffee guy. But, does he need to make it seem so obvious? He was just on the ESPN 710 radio out here in L.A. crying and whining about this is Kobe fault Kyrie wants to leave, because he had him believing in this "Mamba Mentality" thought process. He also took shots at Stephen A for reporting Kyrie camp knows LBJ and his camp leaked this story to him. He kinda admitted that was the case but was clearly upset by it.

It's wild how a grown man whose won a ring cant make a decision on his own for what he wants for his personal career. At the very least you have to respect that. Kyrie never went public with his trade request, he had a private meeting with the front office.

Lebron's camp has no room to complain since he's the king of using leverage against his own team.

Fat man is Rich Paul's rent boy. I'm dsiappointed Henry abott is jobless now otherwise it would have been great if he'd write a story now about how LeBron alienates his teammates.

So LeBron leaks the Irving trade demand to get a trade out first? Seems like more will unravel this week, I don't see how Irving and James play this season together.

I think he leaked it to ensure there is no compromise and he has a clean sheet to leave next season by throwing someone else under the bus first.
