While RW is clearly not a great fit with Lebron, he's a great fit for AD. No excuses for AD this year when it comes to producing. He literally has two of the best creators in the league who play to his strengths.

Imagine not knowing where the alley oop is coming from. Dwight Howard has got to come back to the Lakers now.

AD will just be happy to get some now as he didn't without Rondo except for a rare one from KCP or Kuz. They lost the ability to get easy points last year because Dennis didn't throw them and because Drummond and Harrell didn't go get em

This is how I feel. They need a floor spacer now.

On a side note. I know alot of people are saying LeBron and AD will space the floor but you are literally asking them to make the weakest parts of their game the main role on offense. This is the 2nd year in a row the Lakers big off season pick up is some one who is a liability in the playoffs. I'll be patient and see but I'm not hopeful.

Well look at it this way, Russell Westbrook won't go 0/9 FG, 4 rebounds, 1 assist in 26 minutes in a pivotal Game 5.

Westbrook's play down the stretch in many playoff games was the primary reason OKC never got there... he's been atrocious under pressure his whole career. But hey.... the post game pressers will have some flavor now...

It’s not just AD and Lebron spacing the floor with shooting. When AD moves to the 5 he’s one of the quickest players in the league at that position. When Lebron moves to the 4 he’s one of the quickest players in the league at that position. As long as those guys don’t just stand around when Westbrook is looking to create that can dramatically help space the floor. RW also has to be much more of a distributor/playmaker than scorer this season. But they also still need a high level shooter who can give the 25-30 min a night at the 2 or 3.

Lot of ifs to make it work.

He was gone long ago at 13. There was no way we were going to move that high up with the assets we had.

I trust Pelinka.

I love WB.

We need to surround this new big 3 properly.

Give me Reddick, Melo, Olynyk and Dwight for the minimum

DeRozan for MLE - publicly said he’d take a pay cut to come to LAL

WB / Reddick / DeRozan / Bron / AD
Caruso / THT / Morris / Olynyk / Dwight
Melo / Gasol

I’ll go to war with that

He is go be mid level money at least based off his Houston play and how Miami missed him for spacing.

That would be great if we can get all that. Might as well give Lakers Title now lol

I totally agree with you. There is two problems with moving AD and LBJ down there position. 1. They don't want to do it. 2. If there is 3 bodies in the paint it won't matter how quick you are. I agree tho the roster will need alot of work.

Dwight and Olynyk center committee would be amazing. Melo is pretty much a lock and I believe he'll fill Kuz's role perfectly.

Reddick is done though. Derzoan would definitely be the best talent we could get for the MLE, and I think from his statements it's very possible,,,,but man, another questionable addition fit wise to a team that has a super questionable fit already

This is wild though......I'm sure the FO has a plan and some deals lined up already. I just really can't foresee what these deals are. I think we have a couple more surprises coming at us this offseason

Westbrook led the league in assists 3 of the last 4 season and has been at the top of the list most of the last decade... Like I said in the GB, why does he have to be our shooter? Takes the ball out of LeBron's hands more which makes our offense less stagnant, like when we had Rondo... AD shoots 3s, THT can shoot, defend and attack, if we keep Schroder, he can be more of a pure shooter, Lebron won't have to attack as much and can take it easier on the outside, which makes it easier for him to keep his 3pt% up...

Or flip Schroder and THT for someone else... It's still a major upgrade over a bunch of inconsistent bodies that contributed little to our wins... the mvp of that trade from our side is probably KCP.

You think THT will be placed in the starters role? not sure if he ready? I like him, but maybe not ready yet?

Schroder won't be Laker next season 100% sure on that.

Agreed i don't see why Schroder would even think of staying with point guard being filled up with Lebron and Russ.

Schroder never said he had to play PG... He said he wanted to be a Starter... PG was the only starting role we had for him.
He's not a natural PG in the first place... He's really a small wing/shooting guard...

That said, I'm not that into Schroder... I'd be happy if he bounced. But I just think he may be the only good player we can get in their prime with the money we have left over.
I also think maybe his biggest problem last season was playing with Kuz... Which admittedly, is really stupid... But still... Maybe the exit of Kuz will do him good.
Never have rice at Hanzo's house...
