KD just requested a trade from nets. It’s a fire sale in Brooklyn.

Who will trade for an expiring Kyrie Irving knowing he wants the Lakers?

I don't see any team doing it.

Three team trade with the Lakers sending out Russ and THT. Russ would do to a 3rd team since there’s no he can play with Ben. Ben makes Russ look like a sniper.

Can we also inquire to see if the nets would accept a trade centered around Lebron for KD? Nets have zero incentive to be a bad team.

In exchange for who?
This is what Masai has been waiting for, Siakam, FRPs, fillers, possibly Barnes or Chicago, joins Lavine and reunites with Donovan for DDR, Vuc, fillers.

I’ll take AD, LBJ and Kyrie over AD, LBJ and Russ.

Since Kyrie is only 1 year, I really like this deal. I don't think Kyrie, and Lebron have it in them for another title. But who cares. We're basically free and clear next offseason.

If Lebron wanted to stay for another year or two (I'd want a discount so we can build something real) I am ok with that. Not enthusiastic, but ok with it. AD, Kyrie, Westbrick.....they can all take a hike.

I hope you're right. If we could actually get Kyrie to behave.....we might pull off a S&T next offeason for something worthwhile. I'm super down with this idea. I don't care if AD goes all beast in Brooklyn....I'm over it.

But that would only prove that Kyrie can only behave around a domineering star like LBJ. That severely limits sign and trade options, but maybe also means the lakeshow could re-sign him for cheap.

Seems increasingly likely Kyrie is headed here. Its a gamble we have to make, we realistically don't have the talent to contend next year even with a Russ/Hornets trade.

I've always disliked Kyrie. That all changed last year. I'm unvaxxed. I ride with Kyrie, Aaron Rodgers and Djokovic for life. Bring Kyrie on board. A 50/40/90 ball wizard that can create his own shot like nobody else. Can transition to SG and play off ball with the best of them. YES!!!

If pelinka gave up all of our championship pieces, why not just take the next step.
Send AD and Westbrook, and we get the 2 disgruntled from the Nets

I'd take KD over Irving any day of the week.

Lakers should do it and pull the plug - ain't winning nothing next year - more than likely AD just gonna go down in first 1-2 months anyway. Edit: Throw in the 1st and THT to sweaten the deal a bit :)

A better deal for Brooklyn is sending KD/Kyrie to New Orleans for Ingram, McCollum, Valanciunas, and a cocktail of draft picks.

That deal is a thousand times better than anything the Lakers throw their way, and it turns New Orleans into an instant contender.

How about trading LeBron and AD to the Nets for KD and Irving? Westbrook had some of his best seasons playing alongside KD.

LeBron isn't getting traded unless he wants to get traded, and I doubt he's crazy about teaming up with simmons in Brooklyn... Plus that would be a massive overpay for KD and Kyrie.

And AD isn't getting traded unless it's for another high profile Klutch client...

So why not do Westbrook/AD for Kyrie/Simmons? That way Brooklyn gets to keep KD and pair him with AD... Klutch doesn't lose a client in LA... Simmons gets to his ultimate destination... We get younger and move away from oft-injured AD, and AD gets to pair up with KD...

I like your thinking; however, Durant has requested a trade to leave the Nets.

I’d do that. That’s a fair trade for both teams .
We’d need some more shooters on the team if that happens .

One thing to check on is Simmons’ back injury. Those are tough to recover from.
