Yeah
That ending just sucked .
They played super hard but the Kings had a go to guy in Fox and we couldn’t stop him.
And we didn’t have a go to guy.
They doubled on AD and left others open and they clanked their shots .

We got out-coached tonight too

8-0 run to end the game .

Pat wasn’t great but he wasn’t the reason they lost.

They put screens on Pat and got AD on Fox and he made midrange after midrange over AD

His Defense is good, not great, but good - offense sucks ass and I'll agree with you on that.

I mean there was aplay where Russ threw an outlet pass to Bev and Bev pulled up for a 3 and missed bad It was a 2 on1 and yet he pulled up for a 3 WTF

2-10!

A few more losses and I’d think Ham would be in the hot seat. I like the guy but haven’t seen anything from him that gives me any confidence that he’ll make adjustments to help turn this thing around

This is certainly one of the worst teams I have seen in 25 years of NBA. Absolutely pathetic.
There's zero progress or improvement from game to game. WTF is Ham doing ?!?

First several games, they sucked at shooting, Russ was terrible they lose,
Versus Utah, they shot great, they lose
Russ plays great coming from the bench, they lose.
Lebron struggles, AD not engaged, they lose
Lebron shoots well, AD don’t get touches, they lose
This game, they shot well, AD plays hard, Russ plays great they lose

He'll get the blame but there ARE no adjustments for what we're seeing other than a new roster. I think every player on our team is overrated by massive amounts. From Reaves to Bron. No one is "coaching" Bron or Westbrook. They do what they do. Davis, when you truly evaluate his game, is more limited than most think. The result is very predictable and inflexible.

This team is finding ways to lose. I don’t see Jeanie spending more money on another coach.
Vogel is probably smiling while watching this team struggle and still wondering how he got canned while Rob got an extension :banghead:
Is it 6 straight games they played bad defense ?
Where is the accountability, adjustment? Sacrifice?
Will the Lakers serve us Ham for Thanksgiving? :o

Honestly this game wasn't that bad to watch on both ends of the floor.

Only reason they lost Is because they had no answer for FOX In the last quarter, I mean they were paying defense and Fox was making tough shot after tough shot.

I agree. The Lakers played hard. The 4th Q started with two turnovers by the Lakers and quick scores by the Kings.
Ham called a quick timeout which was good.
They got things back together and were competitive mostly.
But then the Kings executed nicely on offense with a ton of PnR that the Lakers didn’t adjust to.
That one is on Ham.
Fox made tough shots but they should have figured out a way to get the ball out of his hands.
The Kings on the other hand, double teamed AD and he was not a factor down the stretch . They dared the others to shoot .

I disagree. As a coach, you should always be looking for making adjustments.
There were many to be made last night on both offense and defense.
Having a bad roster is not an excuse to not do your job as a coach.

They lost to a bad team at home. Yes the Kings have beaten the Cavs, a decimated Hornets, bad team like Orlando and the struggling Heat, lost 6 games.
The narrative before was
1.The Lakers play great defense but couldn’t shoot. Well they shot well this game.
2. Russ sucks, well Russ is playing better, still losing games.
3. Lebron can’t shoot, shot well before he got injured, still lost.
4. They have faced very good teams, if only they play a bad team like the Kings esp at home…. :banghead:

As I said, he will get the blame. I think he's doing just fine with this roster. We might not have the 2 wins we have without his in game decisions.

You’re right. He’ll be the first to be blamed. That’s unfortunate. A rookie head coach should have more time. But this is the Lakers. With AD, LBJ and Russ, and one of the most expensive rosters in the league.

I think if he shows more strategy, more adjustments, and a few more wins, they won’t fire him.

I haven’t seen much of his signature on this team. They began the year as a defensive minded club, which I loved but that seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.

Now, with 12 games in, and two 5 game losing streaks already , the coach will be the one on the hot seat. I don’t think it would be fair for Russ to shoulder the blame like he did last year (deservedly so).
